[White words.]

The Journey

[Ryan Matthews and Thomas Bane both smirk, and begin to circle one another, staring each other down, as Twisted lays in the chops on Cross, Turney elbowing Inferno in the head]

[Inferno helped Cross up to his feet, only to scoop him up, over a shoulder, like Cross was a child, or a scrap of lumber. Dropping to a knee, Inferno brings Cross down, spine-first, across his knee, and Cross drops to the mat, back arched, a hand clapped to the hurt area in agony.]

[Top rope elbow from Bane on Matthews.]

NWA

[Anders Duran wastes no times and runs at the ropes vaulting over them and taking out Harry Blue, and Cowboy with a flying body.]

[Anders Duran with a missile dropkick.]

Anders Duran
Wait
KingPRO

[Sam Natas and Vinny Mara start to exchange blows in the corner.]

[Lee Riel stomps on the back of Christian Light's head.]

[Ryan Storm stomps Specter.]

[Storm tags in Riley.]

[Riley yakuza kick on Natas.]

[Front body press by Light on Natas ends it.]

WMW

[Zahn and Fisher lock up -- eschewing the traditional collar-and-elbow position for the more direct approach of going right for each other's throat.]

[DeBough whirls toward Granger and swings another lariat.]

[Wynkoop rabidly kick at the knee of Kaybe.]

[Jordon nails DeBough with 'the Sack' but calls for Mandrake.]

[Wynkoop avoids a Granger Asai Moonsault.]

[Mandrake dumps Ganger over the guardrail.]

[Mandrake with a knee lift into the chest of Jordon.]

[Spinning heel kick from Granger takes Mandrake over.]

[Kayne is choke slmamed over the top rope to the outside by Mandrake.]

[Mandrake is finally taken down with a flying Jordon shoulder block.]

[Picture perfect splash by DeBough on Kayne.]

[DeBough is in a precarious position hanging from the ropes, Zahn with the sole of his foot to the jaw knocks him out.]

[Fisher Hooting Star Press on Zahn.]

[Jordon Scoop Slams the massive Mandrake.]

[Mandrake covers Kayne.]

[Footage shot earlier in the day while the arena remains empty.]

[Standing in the ring is the WWA World Champion Ryan Blasier. He’s got the World title belt around his waist, and wears a pair of black dress slacks, black dress shoes, and a long sleeved white Polo dress shirt. Beside him stands Cunningham, his on again, off again bodyguard, who stands an imposing six feet, and ten inches tall. Unlike Blasier’s more dressy attire, Cunningham sports a pair of blue jeans, cowboy boots, and a plain blue t-shirt.]

[He has a microphone in his right hand, and behind him, each hanging on a horizontal bar which are suspended from the rafters by a steel cable, are two hockey jerseys. Both jerseys are covered by a black cloth.]

Blasier: “It is an honor to be in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the former home of a National Hockey League team, the Winnipeg Jets. As is customary in hockey, when players of a certain caliber can no longer compete at a high level, and choose to leave their sport, they are remembered by their team retiring their jersey.”

[He gestures to the two cloth-covered jerseys behind him.]

Blasier: “Tonight, it is my pleasure to retire two more jerseys, as a tribute to two men who have come on gone, but who made their mark during their time here, within our own professional league, but of wrestling, not of hockey ... the World Wrestling Alliance.”

[He pauses, as if choked up by his “heartfelt” speech.]

Blasier: “These two men were among the best at their profession, and excelled each and every time they set foot inside the squared circle. But just like most tragedies, these two men had their careers were cut short because they ran into a man who is their superior, in every way, shape, and form. Two men who I, personally, sent into early retirement.”

[He grins, as he reaches for both black clothes. He gives them a tug, causing the clothes to fall to the mat, revealing two hockey-style jerseys, with the number “06” underneath two different names. The camera pans in closer on the two names on the jerseys.]

[They read “Henry” and “Steele”.]

[Blasier motions to Cunningham, who starts raising the two jerseys high up into the rafters, as Blasier mock-wipes a fake tear from his eye, as he watches the jerseys ascend. After he “composes” himself, he then turns to gesture at a third cloth-covered jersey, hanging from a similar horizontal bar and steel cable combination, which sits across from him.]

Blasier: “Tonight, I’ve taken the liberty of preparing a third jersey for retirement, to join those of John Henry’s and Shane Steele’s, high above the MTS Centre. Cunningham, if you’ll do the honors?”

[Cunningham pulls the cloth away from the third jersey, revealing the exact same jersey number, “06”, but with the name “SG Champion” above the number. Cunningham begins to raise the third jersey up to the rafters, as Blasier smiles.]

Blasier: “Tonight, somebody is going to experience joy, when their arm is raised and they are announced as the winner of the Summer Games tournament. But in what will become the bittersweet moment of their career, they’ll also be announced as the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship ...”

[He pokes a finger into his own chest.]

Blasier: “... My championship ...”

[He lets out an amused chuckle.]

Blasier: “And when that happens, this person’s career will follow the same path as every other man who’s faced me.”

[He points to the three new jerseys hanging high above the MTS Centre.]

Blasier: “To the Summer Games Champion, enjoy your moment. Because it’ll be the last time you experience that sensation.”

[End of pre-recorded message.]

DDK: Current World Champ with a few words to the Summer Games competitors.

Angus Skaaland: Way to state the obvious.

DDK: I guess he just wanted them to know who was still the top dog even after Summer Games is all said and done.

Angus Skaaland: Could you get any less entertaining?

***************************************************************

[Jesus Christ.]

[A man that died for the sins of mankind recognized universally as a martyr for his beliefs. One of the many symbols of Christianity is the image of Christ at the crucifiction, sometimes in agony and others with an emotionless look.]

[However in the WWA... Jesus is in the hallway or more specificically a lobby area where people congregate. The giant statue of Christ crucified obviously draws it's fair share of gawkers and onlookers. Two men get close enough to touch Chris because their boss ordered them to move it.]

"DO NOT TOUCH JESUS!"

[The statue booms and surprises everyone present.]

Worker1: "Oh...my...god."

Jesus: "Yes, among other things!"

Worker2: "We were ordered to move you!"

Jesus: "I want you to BRING JESUS GRILLED CHEESE...SO HELP ME IF THE EDGES OF THE TOAST ARE NOT CUT OFF!!!"

[The workers scatter. A woman nearby just watches with confusion.]

Jesus: "You, the pretty woman... With the blonde hair...Ever been with a man strong enough to carry the sins of MANKIND!?!"

[She bolts.]

Jesus: "Damn...That worked on Mary Magdalene..."

[Rex the prophet strolls on the scene.]

Jesus: "You....False Prophet..."

[Rex stops in front of the statue with a smirk on his lips.]

Rex: "False prophet, ya say? Only one thing false in here, an' Ah'm lookin' at it."

Billy: "Word...Looks pretty fake to me too."

[Steps right beside him. Double take! Looks at Rex.]

[Rex glances sidelong and does a double take, too.]

Jesus: "JESUS WANTS HOT CHOCOLATE!"

Rex: [To Billy] "This yer doin', ya filthy sinner?"

Billy: [Shaking his head while holding hands up] "Scouts honor!"

[Billy gives Rex a big old toothy grin.]

Billy: "And just to say that there's NOOOOOOOO hard feeling's 'tween us. Here, I got you a present."

[Billy produces a Bible and hands it over to Rex]

Billy: "Laatter dude...."

[...Billy side steps and then BOLTS when Rex isn't looking.]

[Rex rolls his eyes, pinching the Bible between his thumb and forefinger, as if it's a slightly revolting item of garbage retrieved from a wastebin.]

Rex: "Well, Ah'll be. The Devil's puppet *would* have the cheek to give me a Bible. 'S a wonder his hands didn't burn off touchin' it."

[Curiosity getting the better of him, he opens the book.]

*KKKKKKSSSSPPCCHHHH*

[White powder covers Rex.]

Rex: "That *no* good filthy sinner!"

[Runs looking for Billy]

[Brian Fisher walks out from a nearby cracked closet with a walkie talkie in hand.]

Jesus: "Jesus thinks Fisher is going to win Summer Games this year."

Fisher: [puts walkie talkie down.] "Word."

Summer Games [Quarter-Finals]
Team NWA
vs
Team KINGPro
***************************************************************

Angus Skaaland: "Well NWA made it through a tough contest with the AWA to make it here."

DDK: "Yes and KingPro had just as hard of a time against AFW, and that is just sad."

Angus Skaaland: "Yes indeed after getting smacked around with road kill for a while Duran was able to score a pin, and end the cluster fuck that was that horrible match."

DDK: "Well lets send this one down to Scarlett Johansson."

Angus Skaaland: "Yes lets."

[Scarlett Johansson is in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand.]

Scarlett Johansson: "The following contest is a second round Summer Games match, it is once again one pin to win!"

POPPAGE FOR FINALITIY OF IT ALL!!!

Scarlett Johansson: "Making their way down to the ring first TEAM KINGPRO!"

[On the tron, a picture of a huge, purple, evil jester face appears. An explosion sound can be heard, and the picture is replaced by a massive clay golem. The song "Clayman" by In Flames begins to play. As its playing, Anders rushes into the arena with red pyro going off on both sides off him. He has both his hands open, and raised up high and to the side. Anders walks in a very nonchalant manner. His expressionless face makes it hard to tell what Anders is thinking, or even what emotions might be running through his system, as if he were some kind of robot.]

[Duran's face all of a sudden morphs into one of great enthusiasm. Anders screams "YEA!", does a quick headbang, and begins to stomp to the ring, trying to stir up the crowd as much as he possibly can. And with the last words of the lyrics a huge explosion sound is heard again as the music continues. Finally Anders leaps over the ropes and begins to take a look at the audience with focused eyes, surveying the crowd as he walks around the ring. The rest of team KingPro slowly follows behind Anders]

Angus Skaaland: "Well I guess when you are the only guy on your team to do anything in the first match you get special treatment after that."

DDK: "I guess so."

[Team KingPro spread out around the ring.]

Scarlett Johansson: "And their opponents, representing the National Wrestling Alliance, THEY ARE TEAM NWA!!!"

[The Rolling Stone's "Paint It Black", the NWA theme song, begins to play with the soft opening guitar riff as the fans await the arrival of team NWA.]

[The captain of team NWA, Thomas Bane, steps out from the back, dressed in his aloha shirt and dress pants. Even though his shirt is loose, one does not have to question the man's physical build. His brown hair glimmers in the flashing lights coming from all directions. He nods at the insane pop he has recieved.]

[Jack Turney, NWA Heritage title draped over his shoulder, enters to a chorus of boo's. He smiles arrogantly, giving them a mock wave. He isn't known for epic entrances, similar to Bane, and steps aside for his other teammates.]

[The mood changes quickly from adoration for Bane to disdain for the rest of the members of team NWA. Tyler Cross and Mimic are next to enter, standing side by side discussing pre-match plans. Cross, Mimic, and Turney are all sporting the same white shirt which reads, "Team NWA: Simply the Best".]

[Turney catches up to Bane and the team begins to walk down, in pairs. The team enters as one by sliding under the ropes. Each man takes a corner, raising their arms for all to see. Bane strips off his collared shirt and tosses it into the crowd.]

[Mimic motions for the fans to boo louder, mouthing the words "WWA sucks", smiling at their obvious disdain for the enemy alliance. The team is ready to do battle.]

DDK: "Well there they are the pride and joy of that other alliance."

Angus Skaaland: "Yes it is just sad that two outsider teams even made it this far."

DDK: "Well this is a well rounded team, and Thomas Bane is just awesome."

Angus Skaaland: "You silly mark you."

DING!! DING!!

[Everyone gets settled up into their corners, and Tyler Cross, and Anders Duran start off for their respective teams. They circle each other a bit, and Ander then charges at Cross catching him off guard, and taking him down with a drop kick to the knee, Cross goes to one knee, Anders lines up for a big kick, but Cross ducks it, Cross back up to his feet only to get planted with a spinning heel kick.]

DDK: "Anders showing what he got."

Angus Skaaland: "Hopefully someone else on this KingPro team will step up at least a little bit."

[Anders hauls Cross into his corner, and makes the tag to Paul Cashaw. Cashaw comes in with a vicious chop across the chest of Cross. Cross stumbles backwards a bit, and Cashaw charges at him knocking him down with a stiff forearm shot. Cashaw taunts Cross for a second before turning to the fans and screaming at them about how they all need to get lives.]

Angus Skaaland: "Look at this asshole."

DDK: "I hate to agree with you but I do."

[Cross crawls over the corner and makes the tag to Mimic, the NWA's biggest team member charges at Paul with a spear taking him down. Maldito runs into the ring to try to help Paul but Mimic catches him with a drop toe hold, and then applies a chicken wing cross face on him. Maldito is screaming and tapping on the mat as the big man yanks back harder.]

DDK: "Look out!"

Angus Skaaland: "Oh boy!"

[Anders Duran flies off the top rope landing a front drop kick right in the back of the head of Mimic forcing him to break the hold. Jack Turney, and Thomas Bane enter the ring now, Paul meets Bane head on Duran takes on Turney. All four men are exchanging fists.]

DDK: "Never long until one of these things turns uncivil."

Angus Skaaland: "Especially with outsiders involved."

[Maldito launches himself off the top rope with a cross body but, Bane sees him and drops kicks him in the stomach in mid-air. Maldito is almost split in two and hits the mat holding his stomach as he rolls out of the ring to the floor below. Bane turns around just as Paul Cashaw is running towards him, Bane side steps him and catches his neck nailing a quick reverse diving DDT.]

DDK: "The ref needs to get some order in there."

Angus Skaaland: "Ya think."

[Jack Turney goes to clothesline Anders Duran, but Duran ducks sending Jack over the top to the floor below. Anders Duran charges at Bane sending him down with a stiff clothesline. Bane is out! Anders sees this as his opportunity to break the match wide open. He climbs the turnbuckle]

DDK: "He is going to fly!"

Angus Skaaland: "He wants to be the hero again!"

[Anders leaps off with a moonsault. The audience holds their breath. Bane rolls to his left, allowing Duran to come crashing down onto the matt. Bane quickly mounts Duran and hooks a painfully tight arm bar.]

Angus Skaaland: "Skillful use of strategy there."

DDK: "Ander went for it too soon."

[Paul Cashaw the legal man in the contest jump back into the ring, and starts making his way to Bane who releases the hold and stands up right in time to plant Paul into the ground with a stalling spine busters. Anders tries to sneak up behind Bane, but Mimic grabs him from behind, and tosses him from the ring over the top rope, Bane goes back to his corner.]

DDK: "Finally some orders."

Angus Skaaland: "Yeah it is about time."

[Mimic whips Paul into the corner, and follows him in with a clothesline. Mimic tags in Bane, Bane lifts Paul Cashaw up, and then puts him down hard with a running power slam. Bane watches as Paul crawls over to tag in Maldito, Maldito foolishly charges Bane, Bane plants a boot into his already injured ribs, and then picks him up in a gutwrench, and suplexs him. Bane signals it is time for the end, and tags in Jack Turney.]

Angus Skaaland: "What is this?"

DDK: "Real leadership means sharing the glory."

[Bane picks Maldito up for a pile driver, while Jack goes up top, Anders knows what is about to happen and rushes in to protect his friend but he gets spear by Mimic in the process. Jack jumps from up top.]

[SPIKING PILEDRIVER!]

DDK: "Oh my god!"

Angus Skaaland: "Did you see the way his neck just bent."

[Jack Turney makes the cover as Bane poses, and Mimic stands watch over Anders.]

Scarlett Johansson: "And your winners of this match who will move on to the next round TEAM NWA!!!"

DDK: "Well that was certainly an easy round for team NWA."

Angus Skaaland: "Yep they are going to be the better off of the second round teams after that light match up."

[Christian Light, geared up with his Summer Games promotional T-shirt and blue-and-white wrestling tights, is seen strolling through the backstage hallway. He seems to have something occupying his thoughts, as the look in his eye hints that his mind isn’t completely there. As he rounds a corner, he’s brought back to reality as he almost walks straight into a pair of individuals. The first is a six foot ten man, who somehow manages to make Light look small in comparison, and the other is a six foot one man, with a cunning look in his eye.]

[Cunningham, and the World Champion, Ryan Blasier.]

Blasier: “Well if it isn’t the Last Nighthawk himself, Christian Light.”

[Light stares at Blasier, trying his best to ignore the giant bodyguard who is standing to Blasier’s flank, arms crossed over his burly chest.]

Light: “Ryan Blasier. I don’t think I’ve had the pleasure.”

[Light holds out a hand to Blasier. Blasier looks down at the proffered hand and scoffs.]

Blasier: “Please. I don’t shake hands with deadmen.”

[Light has a puzzled look on his face as he retracts his hand, so Blasier explains.]

Blasier: “You’re a deadman after tonight. Mandrake’s going to tear you limb from limb.”

[Light lifts an eyebrow.]

Light: “Is that so?”

[Blasier offers a nod and a smile.]

Blasier: “It is. Which reminds me, since this is probably the last time you’ll be speaking for a long while, answer me a question.”

Light: “Yes?”

Blasier: “What makes you act the way you do? What makes you cater to the fans, to the point where you worry about how they see you? What makes you believe this silly notion that honor, respect, and reputation are all they’re cracked up to be? In other words, do you honestly believe that your squeaky clean persona will ever triumph over someone like Mandrake?”

[A smile, as Blasier leans closer.]

Blasier: “Or someone like me?”

[Light smiles right back at Ryan Blasier as he nods his affirmative.]

Light: No matter how much talent a man of evil has, they always need to rely on a shortcut. They always need a crutch. In Victor's case, it involved putting my head through a bathroom wall and a strategically-placed piece of piping. Could he have beaten me without using such shortcut tactics? Quite possibly. But by doing what he did, by taking the low road, he showed me that he wasn't so sure himself. He had doubt in himself. He doesn't know whether, straight-up, he could beat me in a fair wrestling match.

[Light cracks his neck.]

Light: While the good guy? He stares down adversity on a daily basis. He never uses the same shortcut that the bad guys rely on. So when the shortcuts stop working...and they will...the bad guy won't have a crutch to stand on, and he becomes easy prey.

[Pause.]

Light: Plus, it's one heck of a rush to have thousands of people chanting your name. A rush like you wouldn't believe

[A daydreaming smile appears on Christian's face as Blasier nods.]

Blasier: “Fair enough. I'll leave you to your delusions, then. Maybe, if you're right and I'm wrong, and you survive Mandrake tonight, we'll be seeing each other shortly. Take care, Christian.”

[Blasier and Cunningham disappear down the hallway, leaving Light to contemplate their exchange.]

***************************************************************

<< SPOT >> [We cut up to the ring where Jen Caserta with a mic in her hand is standing with Darius Leonidas whom has the GTC Touring Championship slung over his shoulder.]

Jen: "What? You didn't expect us to show up and steal the show .again, with more Global Cup information. Don't act like the anticipation isn't working you're nerves.. When things were rocky in the alliance, what idea built us back up? Global! The Global Cup demands competition, thus creating a bombardment of ratings."

[Jen paces a bit.]

Jen: "But you need a solid charismatic, talented champion to pull this off."

JENS-A-WHORE!!!
JENS-A-WHORE!!!
JENS-A-WHORE!!!
JENS-A-WHORE!!!

Jen: "Mister Leonidas here is that champion. The avant-garde champion that Global has been missing. Get this; we're so confident in Darius that we're willing to put him and his GTC Touring champion on the line in Greece on the Twelfth of September."

POPPAGE FOR TITLE MATCH!

Jen: "Since Global is bigger this time around, our champion must be just as big. So to legitimize Darius as the GTC champion we'll be placing him in the same ring not one, but two WWA legends."

POPPAGE FOR LEGENDS!

Jen: "In a handicap match! Would you be willing to put yourself on the line like that champ?"

[As Jen reaches out to Darius with the microphone his jaw drops in awe. He immediately tears up, whether it was the actor in him or not he looked admirably honored. His facial expression spoke volumes of the joy he had as Jen spoke. Looking down at the championship he carried and held in his hands, then looking around at his audience, he with gratitude took the microphone from Jen.]

Darius: "It would..[now blubbering]be, ..a privilege."

[Darius always prepared pulls a pack of tissues from the inside pocket of tailored suit he wore. He dramatically dabs his eyes as the crowd begins to boo before going into a rather lucid chant simultaneously.]

BOR-ING! BOR-ING! BOR-ING!

[Darius lifts his championship up for all to see.]

Darius: "Do you hear that Jen?"

[Lifting his head up into the air he chants along with the 'fans'.]

Darius: "DAR-I-US! DAR-I-US! They love me, they really love me."

[Putting his hand on Jen's shoulder he begins to nod his head.]

Darius: "You and Vinny, you're like role-models to me. If you two believe in me so much that you think I can be the one to legitimize this title for GTC, then so be it, it's done. No matter the obstacle. I wouldn't even sweat it if you put me in the ring with a team as cohesive as Eric Dane and Diablo... I would adapt. Not to point the finger at any particular legends you know."

[Darius sniffles and begins to chuckle.]

Darius: "Don't you get it? Point. The. Finger. HA! [snort] Ah-hahaha!"

YOU-SUCK! YOU-SUCK! YOU-SUCK!

Darius: "No, not me, but eh, this country certainly does! Maybe when I finish legitimizing heavyweight championships I'll make sure GTC skips right over Canada on its touring schedule. I think I'm done here, anything else needed to be said, will be said on the Twelfth as history is made."

[Jen claps it up for Darius as the fans jeer.]

: "An not only do you have the privlage of seeing Mr. Darius Leonidas defending GTC Touring the title against two WWA legends, but on September twelfth you will see the beginning of 2006 Global Cup!"

POPPAGE FOR THE GLOBAL CUP!!!

: "But I am not going to waste my breathe telling you about that, no. I have better things to do."

JEERS!

: "If you would let me finish I would tell you I might be way to important to spend my time talking to you, but luckily for you I got two men who have nothing better to do what so ever. Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome back the announcers of Global, Garret Reed, and George Long!"

MAJOR POPPAGE!!!

[Reed and Long walk out through the curtain both dressed in suites with microphones in hands.]

POPPAGE CONTINUES!!!

[Long signals for the people cool down.]

George Long: "Thank you and we are glad to be back."

Garret Reed: "Just be happy I brought you back with me."

: "What ever you say Reed, you can't bring me down tonight because we have very exciting news."

Garret Reed: "I slept with your daughter."

George Long: "What!?"

Garret Reed: "See."

George Long: "Oh forget you."

Garret Reed: "September 12th the Global tradition continues, and as the Beautiful Jen Caserta told you already Darius Leonidas will be facing two WWA Legends in a handicap match."

George Long: "You didn't really sleep with my daughter did you."

Garret Reed: "No! But even if I did we are at work now no time to discuss that."

George Long: "Huh?"

Garret Reed: "Exactly. The first round action of the Global Cup is going to begin and begin big as we get to see half of arguable one of the greatest tag teams around the Linkin Park Mafia take care of Jared Kicklighter."

George Long: "I wouldn'y undersell Jared, the man is undefeated in the WMW so far even defeating your buddy Vinny Mara."

Garret Reed: "Vinny let him win the match by DQ so shut up, be happy you got hired back."

George Long: "Also in first round action we have a WWA Legend the first ever WWA Heavyweight champion, the Crippler Matt McClain is back, and he is representing BACW in this tournament."

Garret Reed: "Yeah Matt will be facing Dean Horrible, whom was the shortest ever AWA Heavyweight champion."

George Long: "Speaking of former heavyweight champions the first ever AWO Heavyweight champion Simon Kayne will be in this thing representing the OCW when he goes up against Mark Adkins."

Garret Reed: "Mark Adkins who lost in last years Global Cup to Dynamite Kid?"

George Long: "Yeah"

Garret Reed: "I would have thought he would have killed himself after that."

George Long: "Stop being so dramatic."

Garret Reed: "Yeah sure, at least Terry Woods of TheStage verse Little Joey Average should make up for that."

George Long: "Little Joey Average getting re-instate into the OCW just in time to represent his beloved fed against a man who hates the OCW Terry Woods."

Garret Reed: "I mark out for Terry Woods."

George Long: "Go figure, I am sure you probably would mark out for Tyson DeBough too then."

Garret Reed: "Who?"

George Long: "Tyson DeBough."

Garret Reed: "Oh didn't he get knocked into a coma on day one by Travis Zahn."

George Long: "Regardless Tyson will be facing off against AWA's own Handsome Jimmy Danger."

Garret Reed: "Now that is some AWA talent I can appreciate Handsome Jimmy Danger is my surprise pick to take this bracket."

George Long: "Really then might I remind you of another WWA Legend, another former WWA Heavyweight champion Mr. C.J Rowell will be facing off against another AWA wrestler named Blade."

Garret Reed: "I thought C.J Rowell was dead."

George Long: "What?"

Garret Reed: "Oh that must be Kevin Cage."

George Long: "C.J Rowell is alive and well and the WWA Tag team champion with Michael Lennox."

Garret Reed: "I didn't know they took the retirement home on field trips to the wrestling ring."

George Long: "Well anyways. From Garret Reed, and myself George Long, we look forward to seeing you in Greece."

Garret Reed: "Those Greek girls love it up the."

[Garret's microphone gets cut, as "No Where To Run" by DMX, Ozzy and The Crystal Method beings to play.]

DDK: Man Global is shaping up to be a stellar event once again, I can't wait.

Angus Skaaland: You mark!

Team WMW
***************************************************************

[The arena darkens.]

[A faint humming can be heard in the background briefly, but it's replaced by some foreground noise.]

[Sound bytes with accompanying video bytes, coming at us fast and furious, one after the other.]

[First up, a shot of Benner & Demarco, the White Mountain announcer's team.]

Michael Benner: Welcome everyone to White Mountain Wrestling

[Our next shot, Jimmy Riley plastering Shawn Hillard with his brainbuster finisher.]

Frankie DeMarco: Holy crap. That was sick.

Michael Benner: He calls that the Ego Check!

[Flash. This time, we see El Tormenta, setting up and hitting a Vertebreaker on his opponent, Christopher Addiction.]

Frankie DeMarco: Triturador De las Vértebras!

*POP!*

[And another: to the "Zotto thing". Mara turns around and picks up a super soaker and drenchs the ring, and the ring apron with it.]

Michael Benner: “Do you smell that?”

Frankie DeMarco: “Kind of smells like gasoline.”

Michael Benner: “Holy shit, he is using gasoline!”

[And another. Light spearing Sam Natas right out of his boots.]

Angus Skaaland: HOLY SH**!!!!

Downtown Darren Keibler: That spear nearly tore Natas in half!!

[And one final clip, zoomed in on Michael Benner up close.]

Benner: “Welcome to the flagship of this alliance.”

[White spotlights flash and move through the crowd. “Unlease Hell” by Norther plays over the loudspeakers, and out walks Team Summit, together.]

[The Last Nighthawk is shirtless, dressed in his usual blue and white wrestling trunks with the letters RTD written down the outside of each leg.]

[Ryan Storm is clad in black biker tights with STORM written on the backside in purple, with matching black elbow and knee pads with purple trim as well as black leather boots with purple laces. His hair is shaved off his head and his face cleanly shaved with his tanned skin.]

[Vinny Mara is in a pair of Carolina blue basket ball shorts with no shirt and is accompanied by Jen Caserta who is sporting a black Gucci min skirt, and Vinny's Jordan NC Jersey.]

[And The Star of The Show is wearing a white jersey with an image of a mountain on the front with “J. Riley” on the back and dark blue tights with “WMW” on the back. Riley also has a sign he’s holding above his head that says “J. Riley: The Real Champ!”]

Rachel McAdams: Making their way to the ring at this time, representing White Mountain Wrestling, at a total combined weight of 941 lbs.....CHRISTIAN LIGHT, JIMMY RILEY, VINNY MARA, and RYAN STORM!

[The four men walk down the aisle, as a unit. Light and Storm each walk down the aisle on one side, slapping as many hands on their side as they can. Vinny and Jen walk down the aisle, probably talking up some last minute strategy. Riley is a picture of focus, not taking his eyes off of the ring. They all reach the ring together, and Riley then throws his sign into the audience. Then, they all enter together. Jen remains on the floor.]

[Each man takes one corner, standing up on the middle turnbuckle. Light and Storm raise both hands high in the air. Riley raises one hand in the air. Vinny Mara has a sick smile on his face. Light, Mara, and Riley all get down off of their turnbuckles...Storm moonsaults off of his. They all gather in their corner, getting some final points of strategy out of the way as their music fades out.]

AS: Team Summit look like a cohesive unit, putting aside any differences they may have, all for a common goal.

DDK: They better, otherwise they don’t stand much of a chance against a team consisting of two former World Champions.

Rachel McAdams: And their opponents, representing theStage...

[The lights go down as "Mr. Self-Destruct" by Nine Inch Nails blasts through the speakers.]

Rachel McAdams: First, from an unknown location in Floriday, weighing in at 425 lbs.....VICTOR MANDRAKE!

[Pyro explodes with the beat of the music, as the massive Victor Mandrake can be seen standing at the entryway, dressed in his usual custom-designed black trenchcoat, Acolyte-style tights, and black combat boots.]

[His long, pitch-black hair looks stringy and wet as he processes down the aisle mainly to a chorus of boos. Victor steps over the top rope, entering the ring.]

[He climbs to one of the top turnbuckles, peeling off his trenchcoat and tossing it to the side, showing off the copious amounts of tattoos and his chiseled physique.]

[As the music fades and the lights return to normal as Victor stretches briefly before the ring of the bell.]

Rachel McAdams: Also representing theStage, from Jacksonville, Florida, weighing in at 252 lbs.....BRIAN FISHER!

[Cue darkness.]

[Cue slow techno.]

[Two spotlights flash on and illuminate two cages on either side of the stage. Two semi-nude girls dance in them as the music speeds up and the lights start to flicker maniacally back and forth, flashing every color imaginable.]

[Cue the man with no gimmicks, the man that needs no nickname, that needs no introduction but gets one anyway. Cue your motherfuckin’ rightful and deserving world champion.]

[Brian Fisher looks pissed off as he appears from behind the curtain.]

[He starts his descent down the aisle. He wears white boots and white trunks tonight, trimmed in black, the latter going down to his mid-thigh. A small ‘BF’ sits at the top of the waistline in red and on the back of his trunks, also in red, reads one word: “Survive.”]

[Fisher climbs into the ring via the steps, makes his way to a far corner, and poses on it to a mixed reaction.]

[Fisher dismounts from the turnbuckle as the music fades.]

Rachel McAdams: Their partner, from South East, Washington, weighing in at 225 lbs.....DOUG WYNKOOP.

[Wynkoop makes his way toward the ring, ignoring the fans in attendance, his eyes focused ahead of him.]

[He slides under the bottom rope, then with one last weary glance to his teammates, joins them in their corner.]

AS: It looks as though theStage are going to be a man short. Tyson DeBough is nowhere to be seen, and the three members of theStage seem to have accepted it, as they prepare for the bell.

DDK: I think it was a foregone conclusion that DeBough would be sitting this one out. That shot he took from Travis Zahn was one of the most brutal I’ve seen in all my years in the sport.

AS: Let’s just hope DeBough makes a full recovery down the road. Whether you like the guy, or you hate the guy, you never want to see someone’s career cut short.

DDK: I agree one hundred percent. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.

AS: Indeed, now let’s get back to the match, as it appears Brian Fisher and Jimmy Riley will be starting the match for their respective teams.

[The referee signals for the bell.]

*DING!*

*DING!*

*DING!*

[Fisher and Riley meet in the center of the ring and tie up in a collar to elbow. Fisher’s able to shift his position, and places Riley in a side headlock. Riley taps Fisher’s back, then wraps his arms around Fisher’s waist, but releases the hold when Fisher applies more pressure to the headlock.]

AS: Fisher with the early advantage, as Riley tries to fight his way out of the hold. Both men starting off the match a little tentative.

DDK: Both teams are likely going to want to feel each other out. They both know the importance of this match, and don’t want to be over exuberant to the point they do something foolish and cost their team the match, and a potential shot at the World title.

[Riley pushes his way to the ropes, with Fisher still applying a side headlock. Riley pushes Fisher off, sending Fisher toward the ropes. He bounces off the ropes and floors Riley with a running shoulder block. He follows it up by charging toward the opposite ropes, and just as Riley gets back up to his feet, Fisher nails him with a running clothesline. Fisher grabs hold of Riley’s hair, lifting him to his feet, then a swift kick to the gut doubles Riley over, allowing Fisher to set him up for a nice executed stalling vertical suplex.]

AS: Great move by Fisher! Riley hit the mat hard.

DDK: Fisher showed us a display of his strength there. You sometimes don’t realize how strong this guy is because of the way he’s able to move around the ring with his speed.

AS: Well I don’t think Jimmy Riley’s going to be doubting Fisher’s strength after this match.

[Fisher makes his way toward Riley, and begins laying the boots to the fallen man. After the third swift stomp to Riley’s head, Fisher lifts Riley to his feet, then body slams him to the mat. Fisher then charges toward the ropes, and uses the ropes’ momentum to spring back off them, and land across Riley’s throat with an elbow drop. He then lifts a stunned Riley to a kneeling position, then takes a few steps back. With Riley teetering, Fisher runs at him and nails him with a running Yakuza kick, the impact of Fisher’s foot and Riley’s head making an audible ‘wack’.]

*OOOHHH!*

AS: Ouch! What a sickening noise the impact of Fisher’s foot with Riley’s head made.

DDK: Riley might be joining Tyson DeBough on the sidelines after that kick.

[Fisher grabs Riley, and drags him over to theStage’s corner. He tags in Wynkoop, then both men lift Riley into the air and slam him to the mat with a double body slam.]

AS: Doug Wynkoop is tagged in by Fisher, and the two show some cohesiveness in executing that double team move on Riley.

DDK: They’re professionals. Whatever animosity they may have for each other will be put on the back burner, at least for the time being. Fisher and Wynkoop both know there’ll be time enough to settle any scores with each other if they make it to the finals.

[Wynkoop lifts Riley to his feet, then tosses him toward the ropes. He drops his head a bit too early, however, allowing Riley to drop a forearm smash to the back of Wynkoop’s head. Riley struggles to get up, as does Wynkoop after the stunning blow.]

AS: Desperation move by Riley, there.

DDK: Wynkoop telegraphed it too early. He should know better.

[As both men climb to their feet, Wynkoop grabs onto Riley’s arm and attempts to Irish whip him to the corner, but Riley blocks it, and whips Wynkoop toward the corner instead. As Wynkoop hits the corner turnbuckles, Riley charges in after him, but is met by a back elbow from Wynkoop.]

AS: Wynkoop gets the elbow up in defense.

DDK: That really snapped Riley’s head back.

[Wynkoop then charges out of the corner, grabs hold of Riley, and nails him with a spinning neck breaker. Wynkoop gets back up to his feet, charges the ropes, then rebounds off the ropes, as Riley lays prone on the mat, and nails a spinning leg drop on him.]

AS: Wynkoop goes for the early cover!

ONE.....

TWO.....

AS: Kick out by Riley!

DKK: Much too early for Wynkoop to be thinking about putting a wrestler of Riley’s ability away this early.

[Wynkoop lifts Riley to his feet, and whips him toward the ropes. Riley bounces off of the ropes, and as Wynkoop charges, Riley’s able to nail Wynkoop with a running clothesline. Both men go to the mat, Wynkoop flat on his back, Riley to his hands and knees.]

AS: Another desperation move by Riley.

DKK: He really needs to make a tag, or else Team Summit’s chances of walking away from this match are slim.

[Riley begins to crawl on his knees toward his corner, where his teammates have their hands extended for the tag. Wynkoop, the fresher of the two men, shakes away the cobwebs, and gets to his feet first.]

AS: Riley’s almost there.

DDK: But here comes Wynkoop.

[Riley is about a foot away from tagging when Wynkoop charges and nails him with a forearm smash. Wynkoop then grabs hold of Riley and drags him to the middle of the ring, where he drops an elbow down onto Riley’s chest.]

AS: Smart move by Wynkoop. Riley was almost able to make the tag, but Wynkoop stopped him in his tracks.

DDK: It’s a good thing Jimmy Riley wasn’t that busy in Team Summit’s match on Day One, because he’s certainly making up for it this time.

[Wynkoop places Riley in an arm bar, pulling him further into theStage’s corner. As he’s reaching behind himself to tag in Fisher again, Riley launches a kick to the mid section, followed up by a kick to the upper thigh area, causing Wynkoop to release the hold. Riley slumps to one knee, but as Wynkoop charges, Riley nails him in the stomach with a shoulder block, then follows up with a leg sweep, sending Wynkoop to the mat.]

AS: Riley’s fighting his way out of theStage’s corner.

DDK: He’d better, otherwise he’s finished.

[Riley musters all the strength he can, and crawls his way as fast as possible to his corner. Wynkoop gets to his feet and again charges to break up the tag, but this time Riley leaps and is able to slap the hand of Mara, just before Wynkoop can get there.]

AS: Riley makes the tag to Vinny Mara!

[Mara enters the ring like a house on fire, ducking under Wynkoop’s swing. He grabs onto Wynkoop and attempts to whip him to the corner, but Wynkoop blocks it. Wynkoop then whips Mara to the corner.]

AS: Wynkoop charges at Mara.

[Mara comes out of the corner and leap frogs over him. As Wynkoop turns around, Mara nails him with a spinning back heel kick. He pounces on a stunned Wynkoop, charges at Wynkoop, hooks his arm around Wynkoops neck, then executes a tornado DDT, driving Wynkoop’s head into the mat.]

AS: Nice move by Mara!

DDK: He’s certainly brought the WMW fans back to life.

[Mara quickly locks Wynkoop in a step over toe hold face lock in the middle of the ring. Fisher makes as if to break the hold, but the referee restrains him. This allows Mandrake to enter the ring, and with a big boot, stomps away on Mara until he releases Wynkoop from his grasp.]

AS: Mandrake broke Mara’s hold.

DDK: And now Mara’s in trouble.

[Mandrake then grabs Mara by the neck, lifts him up into the air, and tosses him across the ring with a choke toss. The referee finally is over to remove Mandrake from the ring, as Wynkoop begins to get to his feet.]

AS: Mandrake tossed Mara around like he was a toy!

DDK: Why didn’t anyone from Team Summit help Mara out?

AS: Storm and Light looked a little apprehensive about getting in the ring with Mandrake, and Riley’s still trying to regain his breathe.

DDK: I suppose I don’t blame them. Mandrake would make Jesus pee his pants.

AS: Please don’t go offending our religious fans out there.

DDK: Oh please, it’s Sunday. All the religious people would be in Church.

[Wynkoop makes his way over to his corner, where he tags in Mandrake. Mara is up to his knees now, shaking away any confusion, when he looks up and sees Mandrake moving toward him.]

DDK: Vinny’s about to receive the shock of his lifetime.

[His eyes nearly bulge out of his head, and his speed is the only thing that saves him from having the big man’s meat hooks wrap around his throat.]

AS: Mara slides to the outside of the ring to escape Mandrake.

DDK: I don’t know if that’s such a smart move. Mandrake inside the ring is scary enough. Mandrake outside the ring, with steel barriers and concrete floors is downright petrifying.

[Mara high tails it around the ring, with Mandrake in pursuit. As Mandrake rounds a corner, Storm leaps off the ring apron and attempts a hurricanrana on Mandrake, but he isn’t able to get him over. Instead, Mandrake halts the attempted move, grabs onto Storm and drives him to the thinly padded arena floor with a massive powerbomb.]

*OOOOHHHH!*

AS: Mandrake just broke Ryan Storm’s back!

DDK: Well, Storm can take solace in the fact he gave his teammate a chance to get away from Mandrake.

AS: I’m sure Storm will be glad of that fact once he’s able to stand up again.

[Mara slides inside the ring, and is able to tag off to Christian Light. Light stands with his fists up, waiting, as Mandrake slowly hops up onto the ring apron, then climbs over the top ropes and re-enters the ring.]

AS: The two big men for each side are now in the ring.

DDK: This is what the fans have been waiting to see. Light versus Dark, pardon the pun.

[Both men converge at the center of the ring, but engage in a long stare down. Light, who is no small man, is dwarfed by “The Immortal One”, as Mandrake stares down at Light with a slight smirk.]

AS: It’s a battle of wills here.

DDK: Man, that Mandrake is one scary individual.

AS: At least Light’s not backing down an inch.

DDK: He’s got balls. I’ll give him that.

[Finally, Mandrake seems to tire of the stare down. He takes a swing at Light, but Light is quick to duck under it. Light charges the opposite ropes, but Fisher sneaks in a knee to the back, halting Light’s progress.]

AS: Cheap shot by Fisher!

DDK: More like a smart move by Fisher.

[As Mandrake’s about to move in, Mara gets Mandrake’s attention, causing Mandrake to lunge at him. But Mara ducks under the swing, allowing Riley to seize the opportunity, and slingshots Mandrake’s neck across the top rope. Mandrake stumbles back a little bit, and using the distraction, Light bounces off the opposite ropes and spears Mandrake right in the lower back, taking him down.]

*RRRAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!*

AS: What team work by Team Summit!

DDK: Light took the big man down with a HUGE spear.

[With Mandrake face down on the mat, Light positions behind him, sits on his back, then wraps his fists under Mandrake’s chin and pulls back, applying a camel clutch.]

AS: Now Team Summit will probably try to wear Mandrake down.

DDK: Not to mention work on his back and legs. If the guy’s back gives out, I don’t care how strong he is, he won’t be able to lift anyone.

[Fisher enters the ring and charges at Light, but Riley’s there to intercept him, nailing Fisher with a running clothesline. As Wynkoop enters the ring in his attempt to break Light’s hold on Mandrake, Mara charges him and tackles him with a flying forearm. The four men, Riley, Fisher, Wynkoop and Mara, spill to the outside of the ring, hammering away on each other.]

AS: The two teams are brawling on the outside.

DDK: Which leaves Light and Mandrake still in the ring. Light’s still got him in the camel clutch, but I don’t know if Mandrake’s the type to submit, especially with the stakes so high.

[As Fisher and Riley exchange punches on the outside, wailing away on each other, Mara sends Wynkoop into the steel guard rail, then follows him in, but Wynkoop gets out of the way, and causes Mara to smash shoulder first into the steel rail.]

AS: Big mistake by Vinny. He’s favoring that shoulder.

[Storm, the forgotten man, is finally up on the ring apron after the powerbomb he received on the outside of the ring from Mandrake. With the referee’s attention turned to the four brawling on the outside, Storm motions for Light. Light releases his hold on Mandrake, then brings the big man to his feet.]

AS: Light and Storm seem to be choreographing something.

DDK: They might as well take advantage of the two on one situation. Otherwise, it’ll be a long match if they expect to beat Mandrake one on one.

[Storm and Light try to soften the big man up with forearm smashes and knife edge chops. Light holds on to Mandrake’s arm, as Storm scales the turnbuckles to the top. He leaps off the top turnbuckle, driving a double axe handle into Mandrake’s outstretched arm, right at the elbow. This drives Mandrake to his knees, but not all the way down.]

AS: They’ve got Mandrake down.

[As he comes back to a standing position Light, grabbing hold of Mandrake’s arm again, uses all his strength to whip Mandrake toward the ropes. At the same time, Storm mounts the turnbuckles, waits, then leaps off the top turnbuckle just as Mandrake bounces off the opposite ropes, and catches Mandrake in the chest with a missile dropkick.]

*Huge POP from the crowd*

AS: OH

DDK: MY

AS: GOD!

[Light makes the cover, as Storm stands guard in case Fisher or Wynkoop try to break the pin attempt.]

ONE.....

TWO.....

THREE.....

AS: NO!!

[Mandrake is able to get his shoulder up before the referee’s hand hits the mat for a third time.]

DDK: Damn, that was close! Team Summit almost won the match, and they almost did so by defeating theStage’s more fearsome member.

[On the outside, Wynkoop lifts Mara up as if to body slam him, but then drops him chin first onto the steel guard rail. Fisher gains the advantage on Riley with a knee to the gut, doubling him over, then spins Riley around, and drives Riley’s head into the barely padded arena floor with a reverse DDT.]

AS: What a move by Fisher!

DDK: I think he just knocked Riley out of the match.

[Storm vacates the ring via referee’s orders, as Light places Mandrake in an arm bar. As both Light and Mandrake get to their feet, Light nails Mandrake with a European uppercut, then follows up with a knife edge chop.]

AS: Light is really laying into Mandrake.

DDK: But the shots aren’t having much effect.

[He then attempts an Irish whip to the corner, but Mandrake blocks the attempt, and lands a huge right hand to Light’s jaw, causing Light to release his hold on Mandrake. Light then fires back with a knife edge chop, stunning Mandrake slightly. Light attempts to nail the staggering Mandrake with a spinebuster, but is unable to lift Mandrake, and clutches his back as he drops to his knees. Mandrake follows up with a huge axe handle smash to Light’s head. He grabs a hold of Light’s hair, then plants a head butt right to the bridge of Light’s nose.]

AS: Light just couldn’t get Mandrake up off the mat.

DDK: I don’t know if he’s capable of lifting the four hundred plus pound behemoth.

AS: Light needs to somehow get closer to Storm, and keep double teaming Mandrake, otherwise he’s in trouble.

DDK: To make matters worse, Mandrake’s teammates are starting to dominate on the outside, as both Fisher and Wynkoop have Mara and Riley in a spot of bother.

[Fisher and Wynkoop make their way back to their team’s corner, and hop up on the ring apron. Riley and Mara continue to struggle to get to their feet on the outside, with Mara finally staggering to his corner, while Riley remains on the arena floor, semi-conscious.]

AS: Fisher and Wynkoop are back in their corner, and calling for the tag. Meanwhile, Team Summit is in dire straits, with Mara only now joining Storm in their corner, and Jimmy Riley barely having moved since Fisher drove his head into the floor.

DDK: Light better fight his way out of Mandrake’s grasp, otherwise I don’t like his chances if he gets stuck in theStage’s corner.

[Mandrake drags Light to theStage’s corner, hammering him a final time with a forearm smash to the back. He tags Fisher in, then puts Light’s head between his legs, as Fisher scales the turnbuckles to the top rope.]

AS: Fisher’s going to the top rope.

DDK: I don’t like the looks of this.

[With Fisher perched atop the top turnbuckle, Mandrake hoists Light up, and prepares to execute a powerbomb. At the same time Mandrake begins to drive Light into the canvas, Fisher leaps off the top turnbuckle and drops his leg across Light’s neck, adding even more impact to the devastating powerbomb.]

*OH...*

*MY...*

*GOD!*

AS: Guillotine powerbomb by Fisher and Mandrake!

DDK: I think they just broke Christian Light in half!

[Team Summit, seeing their partner in dire straits, enter the ring and charge theStage’s corner. Mara and Storm nail Mandrake and Wynkoop, respectively, with flying forearm smashes. Wynkoop tumbles off the ring apron, with Storm going after him. Mandrake stumbles into the ropes, but does not go down, as Mara’s shot only manages to stagger him.]

AS: It’s deteriorating into another brawl. The referee needs to get control of the match again.

DDK: His hands are tied, though. What’s he gonna do, disqualify both teams?

AS: You’re right about that. As much as possible, I’m sure the referee would rather just stay out of the way and let one team come away victorious. But it’s mayhem in there.

[On the outside, Riley begins to stir, getting to a kneeling position, visibly shaking his head to clear away the ringing. Storm whips Wynkoop the ring barrier, Wynkoop’s back hitting hard against the steel railing. Storm follows him in, leaping up and wrapping his legs around Wynkoop’s neck, flipping Wynkoop over with a nicely executed hurricanrana.]

AS: Storm’s showing off his aerial skills on the outside.

DDK: The problem is he’ll need to do that inside the ring if Team Summit wants to advance to the semi finals.

AS: True enough. Meanwhile, Fisher’s continuing to work away on Light, who’s still reeling after that vicious guillotine powerbomb.

[Fisher lays into Light with right hand bombs. As Light tries to fight back with forearm smashes of his own, his last forearm staggering Fisher slightly, Fisher digs down into his book of dirty tricks and rakes his fingers across Light’s eyes.]

AS: A rake of the eyes by Fisher. He’s certainly not averse to using underhanded tactics to gain an advantage.

DDK: Hey, by any means necessary.

AS: Gee, where have I heard that before.

DDK: From our World Champion, Ryan Blasier.

AS: I was being facetious.

[He uses Light’s momentary blindness to hook his arms around Light and execute an inverted Russian leg sweep. Fisher drapes his body over Light’s for the cover.]

ONE.....

TWO.....

THREE.....

AS: A kick out by Light! He *just* got his shoulder up at the last moment.

DDK: I don’t know how much more Light’s going to be able to take, though.

[Fisher pauses to stand over Light, then looks out over the crowd and raises his hand in the air, eliciting a chorus of booing from those in attendance. He then decides to flip the crowd off, before reaching down to pick up Light.]

AS: Fisher’s certainly not a crowd favorite.

DDK: I doubt he even cares. I’d even suggest he likes it that way.

[Mara is still trying to evade Mandrake. Both men are on the outside once more, joining Wynkoop and Storm. Storm continues to lay into Wynkoop with knife edge chops, pinning him against the steel guard railing. Riley is to his feet now, and with a wave of his hand, motions for the ring announcer to vacate his chair.]

AS: Riley is reaching for a steel chair.

DDK: I think I know where this is going.

[With the referee’s attention on Fisher and Light, the two legal men in the ring, Riley hoists the chair up, and ducks behind the steel ring steps. Mara runs past the ring steps, with Mandrake in pursuit. Just as Mandrake rounds the corner, Riley stands up, reaches back and nails Mandrake as hard as he can, slamming the steel chair across Mandrake’s face.]

*CRRAACK!!*

AS: Jimmy Riley just floored Victor Mandrake with a steel chair! Mandrake is down!

DDK: And the referee didn’t see it!

AS: He certainly heard it, though. He’s glancing around the ring, trying to figure out what that loud noise was.

DDK: Riley’s a sneaky one. He dropped the chair immediately after he nailed Mandrake with it.

[In the ring, Fisher has Light hoisted up in the air, and looks to be setting him up for a tombstone piledriver.]

AS: Fisher’s going for the Gravedigger!

DDK: If he hits this on Light it’s over.

[Riley slides inside the ring, and charges at Fisher, nailing him with a forearm smash to the back, just before Fisher’s able to nail his finisher on Light. Fisher falls to the canvas, Light toppling with him, as Riley begins to lay the boots to Fisher, stomping away like a man possessed.]

AS: Riley’s hammering away on Fisher with reckless abandon.

DDK: I’d say Riley’s memory has returned, and he’s remembering who it was that drove him head first into the concrete floor.

[With Mandrake laid out from the chair shot, Mara hops up onto the ring apron, and leaps off the apron with a running start, nailing Mandrake with a corkscrew moonsault.]

*RRRAAAHHHH!!!*

AS: What a move by Mara!

DDK: He’s taking advantage of Mandrake’s head connecting with a steel chair.

[Christian Light rolls to the outside, still trying to shake the effects of the beating he’s endured at the hands of Fisher and Mandrake. By the guard rail, Storm attempts to place Wynkoop in a side headlock, but Wynkoop reverses it and then brings a knee up into Storm’s mid section. He plants his feet, then leaps up and nails Storm with a back flip enziguri, landing on his feet. As Storm begins to go down, Wynkoop charges at him, and nails him with a dropkick.]

AS: Wynkoop drops Storm to the ground.

[Riley lifts Fisher to his feet, then rakes the eyes of Fisher. He follows up with a closed fist punch to Fisher’s jaw, then a second closed fist punch that draws a warning from the referee. Riley pleads innocent, then grabs Fisher and hooks him up, placing Fisher’s head under his arm. Riley hoists Fisher up, vertically inverted, and holds him there for a count of three, before dropping him to the mat with a stalling vertical suplex.]

AS: Jimmy Riley showing Fisher that he’s no slouch when it comes to executing suplexes.

DDK: No doubt. Riley’s fully capable of putting on a display if need be.

[On the outside, Mara hops up onto the ring apron, and attempts another moonsault on Mandrake, but Mandrake is able to move out of the way at the last second, causing Mara to hit nothing but thin padding.]

AS: Mara misses Mandrake.

DDK: He went to the well one time too many.

[As Light finally makes it to his feet, sliding outside the ring, heading toward Mandrake. Riley stands in the ring, taking a breather, before moving in on Fisher. On the outside, Wynkoop attempts to make it back to the ring, but Storm is up and the two begin grappling once more. Mandrake is on one knee, as Mara is holding his own back after his failed attempted moonsault.]

AS: I think handicapped advantage that Team Summit has is really starting to show. At all turns, they just always have a fresh man, able to get a breather, when theStage doesn’t have that luxury.

DDK: I agree. It’s also allowing them to make use of double teaming , especially whenever Mandrake is in the ring, negating his impact!

[Suddenly, Tyson DeBough appears at the top of the ramp, wearing a neck brace.]

AS: Oh, now this is cute.

DDK: What’s he think he’s going to do wearing that brace??

[DeBough makes his way toward the ring, unbeknownst to anyone yet, besides the fans, and Skaaland and Keebler. He gets to the ring, eyeing Jimmy Riley.]

AS: I’m confused.

[DeBough waits until Riley is turning, and then charges him, spearing the daylights out of him, then ripping the neck brace off and using it to choke Riley out.]

DDK: Woah! DeBough just nailed Riley!

AS: I guess he’s okay to fight after all!

[DeBough grabs Riley, and drags him toward the ropes, then tosses him through the ropes to the outside, following after him. Light reaches Mandrake, and before Mandrake can get to a standing position, nails Mandrake with a double axe handle smash to the back, sending Mandrake careening into the guard rail. Light follows him in, then positions Mandrake with his back against the guard rail, and begins to lay into him with knife edge chops.]

AS: Light’s taking the fight to Mandrake on the outside.

DDK: He sees himself as the man responsible for taking out Mandrake, and he’s taking the responsibility to heart, regardless of his misgivings about Mandrake.

[Mara slides inside the ring. As Fisher gets to his feet, he notices Mara and makes his way toward him. Mara uses his speed to distance himself from Fisher, though. Fisher lunges at him, but Mara leaps to the side and avoids him. As Fisher lunges a second time, Mara grabs him by the arm and executes an arm drag, into an arm bar.]

AS: Nice take down by Mara on Fisher.

DDK: Fisher’s got the size advantage, so Mara’s gotta use his speed.

[As Fisher tries valiantly to get out of the hold, he takes a swing at Mara, but Mara ducks out of the way, does a back flip, and nails Fisher with a leg sweep, sending Fisher to the mat. Mara then charges toward the ropes, leaps up onto the top turnbuckle as Fisher gets to his feet, and as Fisher turns around, Mara flies off the top rope and nails Fisher in the chest with a missile dropkick.]

*A huge POP from the crowd*

AS: What a maneuver by Mara!

DDK: He caught Fisher flush with that kick. Nicely placed.

[Mara with a cover on Fisher.]

ONE.....

TWO.....

THREE.....

AS: NO!

[Fisher kicks out, as Mara slaps the mat in frustration, having been so close to victory.]

DDK: Mara’s starting to get frustrated. That might cost him.

[Storm and Wynkoop continue to exchange blows outside the ring. Storm places Wynkoop in an arm bar, applying pressure, causing Wynkoop to grimace. Storm scales the guard rail, while still keeping hold on Wynkoop’s arm, and executes a springboard arm drag on Wynkoop.]

AS: Storm’s showing off more of his high flying ability. He seems to have Wynkoop’s number right now on the outside.

[As Wynkoop gets up, Storm charges and nails him with a tornado DDT, which places Wynkoop right near the ring apron. Storm mounts the ring, and then jumps down onto Wynkoop with a double stomp.]

DDK: Ouch! Wynkoop’s chest must feel like an anvil dropped on it.

[DeBough has Riley on the outside. He’s dragging him up the aisle, toward the back. He lays into Riley with forearm smashes, then rams Riley’s head into the steel guard rail. DeBough then hooks Riley’s head under his arm, grabs a hold of his tights, and executes a snap suplex right near the entrance curtain on Riley.]

AS: DeBough’s taking out Riley with a suplex on the entrance ramp. Now it looks as though DeBough is dragging Riley to the back.

DDK: Maybe DeBough figures to make it three on three, and keep Riley as far away from the ring as possible.

AS: Perhaps DeBough’s not at full health after all, and this is his only way to contribute by evening the odds.

DDK: We’ll have to wait and see, won’t we.

[Storm joins Light, who continues to work away on Mandrake with European uppercuts and knife edge chops. Mandrake, however, blocks Light’s assaults, and nails Light with a giant boot, that sends Light stumbling back. Storm charges at Mandrake and nails him with a dropkick that doesn’t put the big man down. Storm attempts a second dropkick, again connecting, but again failing to knock the big man off his feet. Storm’s third attempt is foiled, as Mandrake swats Storm’s feet away, then reaches down and picks up the much smaller man, hoists him into the air, and attempts a choke slam.]

AS: Uh oh, Storm’s in a precarious situation now.

DDK: Geeze, look at the meat hooks on that guy. His hand is practically wrapped around Storm’s neck entire neck.

[Seeing this, Light charges in an attempt to save his partner, but Mandrake sees him coming, and with his left hand around Storm’s neck, he grabs Light in his right hand, wrapping it around Light’s neck. With one grunt, Mandrake hoists both men into the air, and drives them onto the concrete floor with a double choke slam.]

*HOLY SHIT!*

AS: Unbelievable display of power by Mandrake!

DDK: Did he..did he just lift Light one handed and choke slam him?

AS: Yes, he did.

DDK: Wow, I’m in disbelief.

[Mandrake stands over Light and Storm with bloodlust in his eyes.]

AS: I have to tell you, Victor Mandrake has been everything I’ve heard he was, and more.

DDK: That’s an understatement. But you can’t take away from the effort all seven of these men have put forth tonight. Eight, if you count DeBough’s late arrival.

AS: I’ve been somewhat surprised by the crowd being anti-theStage, though. I figured it would be split down the middle in terms of support.

DDK: I suppose when the media has hyped this match as Good versus Evil, Light versus Mandrake, it’s easy for the fans to side with Team Summit. Besides, it’s not as if theStage will care, as long as they come out on top.

AS: That’s true. For guys like Fisher and Mandrake, winning is the bottom line.

[Wynkoop slowly starts to make his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope. Mara spots him, and satisfied that Fisher isn’t going anywhere for the immediate future, makes his way over to Wynkoop. Mara attempts a running clothesline as Wynkoop gets to his feet, but the Crimson Cup champ is able to duck under the clothesline, and starts firing away on Mara, stunning Mara with a series of punches, lefts and rights connecting too fast for Mara to block them all.]

AS: Wynkoop hands are moving like lightning.

DDK: Mara’s head is looking like a speed bag at the moment.

[He then grabs hold of Mara, and executes a belly to belly suplex on Mara. Wynkoop makes his way over to Mara, and executes a standing moonsault. Not giving Mara and chance to recover, he lifts Mara to his feet, bends him over, wraps his arms behind his back, and lifts Mara up into the air, then slams him to the mat.]

AS: Double underhook powerbomb by Wynkoop on Mara.

DDK: What a move by Wynkoop!

[Wynkoop goes for the pin.]

ONE.....

TWO.....

THREE.....

AS: NO!

DDK: The referee’s hand hit the mat for a three count!

AS: The momentum carried his hand for a third time, but the referee is indicating it was only a two count.

DDK: Wynkoop doesn’t look happy.

[Wynkoop argues with the referee, as Fisher gets to his feet and begins to make his way to join Wynkoop. On the outside, Mandrake leaps onto the ring apron, and climbs through the ropes, joining his Team Tidal Wave mates.]

AS: This does *not* look good for Vinny Mara. He’s the only member of Team Summit inside the ring, while all three members of Team Tidal Wave surround him.

DDK: Rest in peace, Vinny. We’ll always have New Hampshire.

[Fisher motions for Mandrake to lift Mara. As Mandrake complies, Fisher grabs Mara and whips him toward the corner turnbuckle. Mara hits hard, as Fisher follows him in with a running clothesline. As Mara staggers back out to the center of the ring, Fisher gets behind him and hooks him up, executing a Tiger suplex. Fisher quickly follows it up by scaling to the second turnbuckle, leaps off, and lands hard across Mara’s chest with a flying elbow drop.]

AS: Vinny Mara’s being beaten to a pulp.

[The camera briefly cuts to backstage, where DeBough is seen dragging Riley. He lands a couple of solid right hands as Riley tries to break his grip.]

DDK: Now Mandrake seems to want in on the fun.

[Mandrake lifts a woozy Mara to his feet, propping him up as Mara can barely stand, then grabs Mara’s arm and whips him toward the ropes. Mara bounces off the ropes, his momentum carrying him right into Mandrake’s arms, as Mandrake lifts him into the air, and executes a tilt-a-whirl slam. He slowly makes his way to Mara’s prone form, grabs Mara by the neck with both hands, and displays his strength by lifting Mara up off the mat, and high into the air in a choke hold.]

AS: Mandrake looks like he’s just playing with Mara.

[Again backstage, DeBough looks as though he’s preparing to set Riley up for a piledriver on the concrete floor, when out of nowhere a figure charges in and nails DeBough with a running clothesline. As the camera pans to focus on the attacker, he’s revealed to be none other than Lincoln Park Mafia member, Josh Styles.]

AS: Josh Styles is here at Summer Games!

DDK: And he just nailed Tyson DeBough and helped out his former stable mate, Jimmy Riley!

[Security staff swarms Styles and DeBough, as both men attempt to throw punches at one another. DeBough manages to get free of the three security officers holding him, and launches himself at Styles, nailing Styles with a flying fist. This causes Styles, and the three security staff holding him, to topple to the ground in a big pile of bodies.]

AS: Security seems to be having a hell of a time separating Styles and DeBough.

DDK: I wonder what Styles’ motives are, other than him and Riley being tight.

[Styles, DeBough, and a pile of security officials wrestle in a massive pile of arms and legs. Finally more security arrives on the scene, and slowly both men are separated and ushered away.]

AS: I guess that means DeBough’s out of this match, as he and Styles get ushered away by security staff.

DDK: Can he return?

AS: Probably, but I doubt we’ll be seeing him again if Styles has anything to say about it.

[With Mara kicking away, one boot manages to stun Mandrake momentarily, causing Mandrake to drop Mara. But before Mara can take advantage of the situation, Mandrake’s quick to recover and charges at him and nailing Mara with a clothesline from hell.]

DDK: He nearly took Mara’s head off with that clothesline!

AS: They’re decimating Team Summit right before the shocked onlookers in attendance.

[Light starts to stir, getting to his feet on the outside. He checks on Storm, who also begins to get to his feet. From the back, Riley re-appears, slowly dragging himself back to the ring after his backstage battle with DeBough, stumbling along the way.]

AS: Here comes Jimmy Riley.

DDK: He can thank Josh Styles, too. I wonder if the former Undisputed Truth members had this planned from the beginning.

AS: I doubt it. There was no way they could know DeBough would show up, or what his intentions might be if he did show up.

DDK: Either way, I’m sure Styles’ actions will piss off some people, especially DeBough.

AS: I don’t think Styles cares one bit who he pisses off.

[Wynkoop notices Light and Storm. He makes his way to the ropes, as Storm hops up on the ring apron. As Wynkoop goes to reach for Storm, Storm hammers him with a forearm smash, then a second, then Storm uses the top rope for leverage, and does a somersault over Wynkoop. Storm then follows up with a belly to back suplex on Wynkoop. With Wynkoop clutching at his back while laying on the mat, Storm then charges toward the ropes, uses the ropes as momentum, and nails a springboard guillotine leg drop on Wynkoop.]

AS: Here comes the cavalry.

DDK: Will they be too late, though? The damage to Mara is already done.

[Light slides inside the ring. He crouches in a ready position, willing Mandrake to turn. As Mandrake slowly turns around to face him, Light pumps his legs for all he’s got, charging at his sworn enemy, and nails Mandrake with a devastating spear. He springs to his feet, as now Fisher turns around, just in time to receive a spear of his own from Light. After he spears Fisher, Light lifts Fisher to his feet, hooking his arm around Fisher’s head.]

AS: Light’s cleaning house in there!

DDK: There’s a reason he’s considered the heart and soul of Team Summit. He’s proving why right now!

[Light hoists Fisher in the air and executes a brainbuster on Fisher, just as Mandrake gets to his feet after receiving a spear courtesy of “The Last Nighthawk”. Mandrake, charges, but Light is ready for him. He attempts another spinebuster, but unlike last time, Light is able to get the big man up, using Mandrake’s own momentum, and plants Mandrake hard into the mat, shaking the mat on impact.]

*YEAAAHHHHH!!*

AS: He did it! Christian Light nailed Mandrake with a spinebuster.

DDK: I didn’t think he’d be able to do it. He failed his first attempt, but this time he was able to lift Mandrake.

[Light lifts Mandrake to his feet and starts laying into him with European uppercut after European uppercut, then ending it by charging to the opposite ropes, rebounding off the ropes and using his momentum to take a flying leap at Mandrake, Light nailing him with a leaping clothesline that sends both Mandrake and Light toppling over the top rope, onto the arena floor.]

*RRAAAHHH!!*

AS: Light’s like a whirling dervish out there. He just took Mandrake to the outside.

DDK: He’s proving without a shadow of a doubt that when push comes to shove, he’s all heart and won’t back down.

[Just then, Jimmy Riley hits the ring, sliding under the bottom rope. At the same time, Storm charges at Wynkoop and nails him with a flying cross body, his momentum carrying both guys over the top rope and to the outside. Fisher begins to get to his feet, as does Vinny Mara.]

AS: Now it’s Riley and Mara in the ring with Brian Fisher.

DDK: The tide has turned. Now it’s a two on one in favor of Team Summit.

[Fisher charges at Riley, but Riley ducks under the clothesline attempt, he grabs Fisher’s arm, turns him around and nails Fisher with a short arm clothesline. He picks Fisher up off the mat, then whips him toward the ropes. As Fisher bounces back off the ropes, Riley and Mara waiting for him, and execute a double clothesline on Fisher.]

AS: Nice double team by Riley and Mara.

DDK: They appear to be on the same page right now.

[Fisher is dragged to his feet, as Riley whips him to the corner turnbuckle. Riley then grabs onto Mara’s arm and whips him in after Fisher. Mara nails Fisher with a corner splash. Riley then follows in and nails Fisher with a clothesline.]

AS: Fisher’s in trouble. Mara and Riley have him on the ropes.

DDK: And so far Storm and Light are doing a good job of keeping Mandrake and Wynkoop occupied on the outside.

[Light and Mandrake are grabbling on the outside, Light fighting with all his strength. Wynkoop and Storm are slugging it out near the announce table, neither man gaining a seeming advantage.]

AS: Wynkoop and Storm are right in front of us, exchanging punches.

DDK: Come on, now. Shoo!

[Mandrake manages to gain an advantage on Light, and whips him to the steel guard rail. His first instinct is to go at Light, but he sees Fisher in trouble, and decides to help out his team mate. Meanwhile, Wynkoop slugs Storm, and then lifts him up onto the announce table. The two men stand up on the announce table, and continue their toe to toe slugfest.]

DDK: I don’t like this. They’re stepping all over my notes!

AS: Folks, I think we’re going to have to vacate our are announce booth any second now.

[As if on cue, Storm leaps up, as if to nail Wynkoop with a hurricanrana, but Wynkoop grabs a hold of him, and wraps his arms around Storm. Using Storm’s momentum, Wynkoop drops Storm onto the announce table with a sit out powerbomb, crashing both men through the table.]

*OH MY GOD!*

[As both men lay in a pile of broken lumber, Mandrake climbs up onto the ring apron. Riley and Mara notice this, so they grab Fisher and double whip Fisher toward Mandrake. The two Team Tidal Wave team mates collide, their heads smacking together, as Mandrake goes flying off the ring apron, while Fisher stumbles forward into the waiting arms of Riley and Mara.]

AS: Sorry about that, folks. We lost audio feed for a moment after Wynkoop and Storm decimated our announce table. The EMT’s are seeing to both men now.

DDK: Storm isn’t even moving, and Wynkoop is screaming in agony while clutching his leg.

AS: And inside the ring, Riley and Mara are going in for the kill.

[Riley and Mara hoist Fisher up, up, up, vertically inverted, then drive him head first into the mat with a double brainbuster. Riley makes the cover.]

ONE.....

[Wynkoop tries to push the EMT’s away, but can barely put any weight on his leg as he takes a step toward the ring, dropping to the floor.]

TWO.....

[Mandrake attempts to get to the ring, but Light leaps on to of his back, sleeper hold cinched in, hanging on with all his strength. Mandrake’s progress is halted, as he drops to one knee.]

THREE.....

AS: HE DID IT! RILEY PINNED FISHER!

*YYYYEEESSSSSS!!!*

[The referee signals for the bell.]

*DING!*

*DING!*

*DING!*

Rachel McAdams: The winners of the match as a result of a pinfall.....TEEEEEEEEAAAAAMMMMM SUUUUUUUUUMMMMMIIIITTTTT!!!!

AS: Team Summit has done it. They defeated theStage and now move on to the semi-finals to face Team NWA.

DDK: I’d consider this a bit of an upset, given the fact that guys like Mandrake and Fisher were considered favorites to win it all.

AS: That’s true. I guess theStage just couldn’t overcome the four on three deficit they faced for the majority of the match.

DDK: Yeah, you could see near the end of the match that theStage seemed just that half a step slower than Team Summit.

AS: Either way, you have to give credit to Brian Fisher, Victor Mandrake, and Doug Wynkoop. Love them, or hate them, all three proved their elite athletes.

DDK: I agree. And now we’ll see whether Christian Light, Ryan Storm, Vinny Mara, and Jimmy Riley have much left in the tank when they take on Team NWA.

AS: I can’t wait.

***************************************************************

[After a tough fought match against the team representing KINGPro, Thomas Bane is seen relaxing in the locker room designated for the NWA superstars. It appears empty, with the three other members elsewhere, as Bane tilts his head back and lets out a breath.]

[As he lowers his head and turns to check on something in his duffel bag, which sits beside him, he notices a pair of feet in front of him. Silently wondering how this individual entered without his hearing, he scans up the individual’s body to his face and recognizes the intruder immediately.]

Bane: “Ryan Blasier. What a shock to see you here.”

[The World Champ merely grins at Bane’s sarcastic tone.]

Blasier: “Thomas, I get the distinct feeling you aren’t glad to see me.”

[He holds a hand to his chest, over his heart.]

Blasier: “That wounds me greatly.”

[Bane simply rolls his eyes.]

Bane: “Get to the point, Ryan. I’ve got a match soon, and I’d rather not spend my down time listening to you pretend to care about anyone other than yourself.”

[Blasier laughs.]

Blasier: “Fair enough. You Hawaiians were never much for small talk. All right, here it is. I’m here out of sheer curiosity.”

[Bane frowns at him.]

Bane: “Curiosity? About what?”

[Blasier glances down to the World Heavyweight title, resting comfortably over his right shoulder.]

Blasier: “About whether, after you’ve faced the kind of competition the World Wrestling Alliance has to offer, you’re ready to admit that in comparison, your NWA World title suddenly seems insignificant.”

[Bane snorts and shakes his head.]

Bane: “You won’t let that go, will you? Tell you what, you hold on to that thing a little bit longer, and then, God willing, once I win Summer Games tonight, we’ll settle this pissing contest once and for all.”

[Blasier smiles at Bane, a hint of mischievousness in his eye.]

Blasier: “Yes, that will definitely be a day I look forward to. In the meantime, I’ll leave you to your...”

[As Blasier turns to leave, he accidentally catches Bane’s duffel bag with his right hand, and knocks the bag onto the floor, spilling various items. Blasier immediately bends down to pick up the duffel bag, and place the items back inside.]

[He holds the bag to Bane and offers an apologetic smile.]

Blasier: “How clumsy of me. Here you go.”

[Bane snatches the bag from him, taking a quick glance to the floor to see if anything was missed, then watches as Blasier disappears out the locker room door.]

Bane: “Yeah, thanks.”

[The camera catches a glimpse of Blasier just before the locker room door closes behind him. He seems to have a piece of paper in his hand, and tucks it away inside his pants pocket.]

WMW Regional Match
Billy Deserati
vs
Rex the Prophet
***************************************************************

DDK: Well we now know that the Summer Games Final will be NWA v WMW, that'll come later tonight, along with the WWA Tag Title Match, next up we have the WMW regional match. Rex the Prophet versus Billy Deserati.

AS: This has been labeled the 'Holy War', I'm not so familiar with Rex the Prophet but I know Deserati labels himself the 'Holy Terror'.

DDK: Rex is the 28th reincarnation of Jesus if you believe what he's saying.

AS: Skippy.

Rachel McAdams: Ladies and Gentlemen the next match this evening is a one on one encounter brought to you from White Mountain Wrestling, WWA New Hampshire

[...Silence...]

[Then the crash of cymbals, the scream of violins and the warble of flutes fills the air: the grandiose opening to "Jesus Christ Superstar". A spotlight cuts across the arena to light up the entranceway, where the curtains part, and a shape emerges.]

[It's a monster of a man: looming stature, all solid muscle, with long wavy brown hair and a thick beard -- the spitting image of Jesus himself, if the only begotten Son had been a weightlifter. A flowing white robe hangs loose about him and whirls around his sandaled feet as he walks; a crown of thorns sits on his head.]

[And to complete the spectacle: he is carrying a giant wooden cross against his back, his hands gripping handles mounted on either end of the horizontal beam. Bowed slightly underneath it, Rex the Prophet marches down the aisle, his gaze locked intently on the ring.]

Rachel McAdams: Now entering the arena, from Corpus Christi, TX... standing 6'7" and weighing 287 pounds... He is REX THE PROPHET!!!!!

[Reaching ringside, Rex straightens his back and stands the cross up on its narrow base. He opens his robe at the front and shrugs it off, revealing the clothing he wears underneath: a white tanktop and neat white slacks; a tiny cross dangles from a chain around his thick neck. After taking a moment to drape his robe over one arm of the crucifix, he turns back to the ring and climbs up onto the apron, stepping over the top rope with little effort.]

[Rex goes to the middle of the ring and assumes a crucifix pose, tilting his head back to stare up toward the heavens.]

DDK: Well he looks the part.

AS: Sure does, I've found my notes on this guy now, I'm putting my mortgage on Rex quite frankly.

Rachel McAdams: And his opponent from Fulton County, Colorado weighing in at 243 lbs. "THE HOLY TERROR" BILLY DESERATI!!!!

["Fallen Angels" by RA blasts over the PA system and Billy walks to the ring in a burst of fire. Slapping hands all around as they're being stuck out and smiling the whole way. He makes his way around the ring slapping hands and enters through the steel steps off to the side. He goes onto a turnbuckle and raises his hand talking to the audience and they stand up and cheer for him. He goes to the opposite side and does the same and they cheer him on there as well.]

DDK: The man from the wrestling family certainly looks confident.

AS: Yeah.

With Deserati still perched atop a turnbuckle Rex attacks, grabbing Deserati around the waist lifting him and slamming him down to the canvas. Rex proceeded to stomp Deserati following the slam and then used a foot choke which was brought to an abrupt end by the referee who admonished the Prophet. The break enabled Deserati to get back to his feet as Rex looked for a lariat having shoved the referee out of the way, Deserati took avoiding action by ducking. With a well placed kick to the gut to the turning larger opponent Deserati seized the advantage with a DDT and a flurry of mounted punches.

"Deserati coming back strong after the initial blindside attack by Rex the Prophet" DDK commented.

Deserati managed to keep on the front foot for some time, often taunting Rex after taking him off his feet, with a strike and delivering lots of mounted punches shortly after the Prophet was taken down, Deserati looked for a submission several times attempting to apply a Boston Crab, Octopus Hold & Chickenwing, but on every attempt the Prophet was able to counter quickly or use his size advantage which frustrated Deserati.

"I don't think that despite his confidence that Deserati has the necessary tools to get the win here against such a big crafty opponent" snarled Skaaland.

Deserati looked for a German SUplex, which Rex Countered with several elbows to the ribs which allowed him to escape, Rex quickly scooped Deserati up and sent him sprawling across the ring with a Fallaway slam. The power wrestler then unleashed a series of power moves on Deserati. Two close pinfal'ls came following first a backdrop driver & second a running powerslam but both times Deserati was able to roll a shoulder off the canvas.

A frustrated Punt Kick to the body of Deserati followed, then an assault against the turnbuckle, several kneesmashes. This didn't seem to phase Deserati as he yelled out "FUCKIN BRING IT!!"

The red mist descended on Rex, who delivered another Kneesmash, then picked Deserati up and threw him like a Javelin over the top rope onto the guardrail which had the Wrestling fraternity of Winnipeg hold their breath, despite that Brutal attack Rex was far from done as he slid out the ring and next tossed Deseratilike a rag doll into the ringpost and then the guardrail yet again.

The fans were obvious in their distaste for the tactics of the 28th reincarnation of Jesus, jeering him.

"Deserati shouldn't have gotten on Rex's bad side with his confrontational demeanor and his flagrant blasphemy" chuckled Skaaland "The fist of god just is dealing out the necessary comeuppance."

"Brutal and without Mercy, not to Christian if you ask me" DDK mused.

With Deserati seemingly a beaten man Rex hurled him back into the ring through top and middle rope and slid in himself, covered….

1..

2..

3??

"NOOO!!!!!!!" DDK enthused, Deserati has a foot in the ropes.

Duly spotted by the referee also, Rex slammed his fist into the canvas and pulled Deserati back to his feet with a handful of spiky black hair. An Irish whip to the corner and avalanche followed as Rex continued his domination.

It wasn't until looked to again put Deserati away, looking for a middle rope Elbow drop that Deserati just about rolled out of the way of that Deserati was able to catch his breath, first to rise though once more was Rex, Deserati moments afterwards, Rex swung with a right that Deserati blocked, to a huge cheer, Deserati fired off several closed fists to the face of The Prophet, which saw Deserati claim the advantage.

Deserati's flurry of punches drove the Prophet back against the turnbuckle where he scolded the Prophet with a claim of "ALL STRENGTH AN' NO HEART!"

Deserati took Rex down with a Underhook DDT which enabled Deserati to keep the Prophet from his vertical base for some time with several stomps, mounted punches, leg & elbow drops eventually leading to a Standing Reverse Figure Four.

"The Prophet won't tap out!" Skaaland confidently predicted.

Rex reached for the ropes but couldn't quite reach them, to the excitement of the crowd.

"He may not have a choice" DDK commented.

With fingernails grating on canvas Rex pulled himself nearer the ropes, the referee asking if he wanted to quit, but Rex refused, though his face was contorted with pain.

"Come on Rex just a little further" Skaaland enthused.

And having been trapped in the grueling hold for sometime, Rex finally made it to the ropes, the referee forced the break but got a mouthful of abuse from Deserati for having done so. Hobbling Rex slowly returned to his feet and Deserati was on him in a flash. A Northern Lights, took Rex over, Deserati bridging for the cover.

1..

2..

"Dammit, Rex somehow gets a shoulder up" DDK bemoaned.

Deserati once again blamed the referee with a mouthful of abuse about a slow count. This enabled Rex to get back to his feet once more and from behind locked Deserati in a Full Nelson, Deserati flailed looking for an escape but there was none.

"Deserati needs to keep his mind on the action, not the referee" Skaaland chuckled "Can't discount a guy like Rex the Prophet for a second."

The referee questioned Deserati is he wanted to quit, but Deserati flatly refused and as his body became limp Rex lifted Deserati into the air, to a gasp of breath from all in the audience.

"Looks as though Deserati has been hung up on the cross" Skaaland offered.

"It sure does" DDK agreed.

Deserati again flatly refused to quit when the referee asked, finally shouting "COME ON IS THAT THE BEST YOU GOT YOU FUCKIN' 'TARD!" while still trapped in the hold. Indeed it wasn't as Rex dropped Deserati in a heap on the canvas, several stomps later and Deserati was drawn on and Rex delivered a Gutwrench Throw.

"Despite his claims, finally the fire seems to be dwindling in Deserati" DDK offered.

"Told you it would, Rex is just too much for him." Skaaland agreed.

Rex looked to pull Deserati back to his feet once more.

"Low Blow!" DDK screamed.

"Cheating swine." Skaaland was outraged.

With Rex stunned, Deserati with a Schoolboy roll up.

1..

2..

3??

*Ding, Ding*

"Deserati did it" DDK enthused.

"I can't believe it." A stunned Skaaland offered.

Slowly Deserati rose, but before the referee could raise his hand in victory, Rex attacked, lifting Deserati up and nailing him with a Crucifix Powerbomb over the top rope to the outside. The incensed bayed for Rex's blood as he exited, Deserati drew the attention of several EMT's.

"Deserati's not looking much of winner right now is he" Skaaland chuckled.

[Jack Turney polishes the gold plating of his NWA Heritage title in the locker room. Lionel pushes through the door.]

Lionel: Ooh, so this is it, huh?

[Jack hadn't shown Lionel the title yet for fear of his uncle pawning it off to cover past debts.]

Jack: This is it. Nice, eh?

Lionel: [taking it from Jack] I'll say. Nicer than anything we had back in the day, that's for sure.

Jack: The Eighties were a crazy time.

Lionel: I once changed my belt to a white leather strap. White leather! No wonder I turned out like I did...

[Lionel looks at Jack with a sudden burst of sincerity.]

Lionel: That's why I'm gonna help you, Jack. Don't you worry. You're gonna be a great, and nothing will stop you. I won't let 'em.

Jack: The advice was enough, Lionel... I'll be good. My team will be fine on its own.

[Lionel nods.]

Lionel: Sure, sure...

[He heads for the door.]

Lionel: But I'll be around, kid. Just in case.

[He exits. Jack sighs.]

Jack: Don't worry, I'll keep an eye out.

WfWA Tag Team Championship Match
the Champions (c)
vs
the Dynasty
***************************************************************

[Blade and Fury are already in the ring.]

Rachael: McAdams: The following match is schedule for one fall and it is for the WWA Tag Team Championship of the World. In this match, the title can change hands as a result of a disqualification. Now first in the ring at this time are the challengers. Weighing in at combined weight of 432 pounds. They are Blade and Fury collectively known as The Dynasty!

AS: Well the challengers look ready for their shot at bringing some alliance gold back to the AWA.

DDK: Too bad they have to beat OCW's Rowell and Lennox to do so.

[The music fades... only to hit once again, this time with "Ghost" by 2Pac and slowly combines with "Back In Black" by AC/DC. An ovation of cheers and boos rises from the crowd as a tag team who needs no introduction to fans of the World Wrestling Alliance emerges from the curtain. But let's introduce them anyway!]

Rachael McAdams: And their opponents, they are your WWA and OCW Tag Team Champions!! First hailing from Boston, MA, standing 6'3" and weighing in at 240 pounds... he is "The Blockbuster" C.J. ROWELL! His tag team partner hails from New Orleans, LA, standing 6'2" and weighing in at 242 pounds...he is "The Wolverine" MICHEAL LENNOX!!!!

[With nary a hesitation, Rowell heads toward the ring, pointing a finger out at the fans cheering him like mad. He has a short black haircut and a thick black goatee, and a tanned, toned, muscular physique. Rowell wears long red tights with "Blockbuster" written down each leg in black Celtic letters outlined in white with his WWA World Tag Team Title around his waist and his OCW Tag Title belt on his shoulder. He has white kneepads and black boots with white laces, and his fists are taped up to the middle of his forearms. Lennox follows soon after. His long black/blue hair is tied in a loose ponytail to show the red/black facepaint over his face while he walks out in a black long sleeve t-shirt and black jeans with "Wolverine" written in red lettering down his right leg. His WWA and OCW Tag Team Titles hanging over his shoulder. He's wearing black boots and has his fists taped for a fight.]

DDK: Now here comes some true champions of the alliance. Just look at all that gold.

AS: But how did they win all that gold by outside intereference and blatant cheating.

DDK: It does matter how they did. It only matters they did it, but it looks like referee is ready to start the match.

[The referee goes to motion for the bell, as Blade and Fury make the first move. Fury rushes straight ahead at Lennox while Blade heads straight for Rowell. Fury plows Lennox with a roaring elbow, and Blade is slammed to the mat as Rowell ducks Blade's clothesline and puts him down with a lariat. Fury and Rowell then turn and look at each other and charge as their partners roll out of the ring. Rowell rushes at Fury but instead of going for a move does a baseball slide under Fury's legs. Fury turns around to be met with a huge right hand to the face from Rowell. Fury is rocked backwards, and Rowell sends him to the mat with a spinning lariat. Rowell pops to his feet and rushes over to tag Lennox, who hops in the ring over the top rope.]

AS: WOW! What a fast paced match, we are having.

DDK: I hope the Champs kick some Dystantsy ASS.

[Lennox rushes at Fury and lands a sharp elbow across Fury's chest. Lennox lifts Fury to his feet and whips him into the ropes. Fury bounces back and Lennox gives Fury a giant back-body drop. Before Fury has a chance to hit the mat, Rowell hits Fury with a huge clothesline that sends Fury in a counter-revolution, forcing him to land sharply on his face. Lennox lifts Fury to his feet while the ref forces Rowell out of the ring.]
DDK: Looks like the referee is going to put his foot down and allow no illegal activities.

AS:Well, I personally think the champs was playing Russian roulette, there. Because one slight rule break. Could cost them the titles.

DDK: Which I might add is I think is highly unfair

AS: The WWA wants to make sure the better team win is all with out a shadow of doubt.

[Lennox once again whips Fury into the ropes, but instead of bouncing off the ropes, Fury holds on to the rope, and motions for Lennox to bring it on. Lennox rushes at Fury who back body drops Lennox over the top rope, but Lennox grabs the top rope and swings back into the ring, dropkicking Fury in the back.]

DDK: Damn! What a dropkick by Micheal Lennox! I didn't think the old man could still move like that.

AS: This is Summer Games. This is the event that every wrestle must dig deep down inside themselve, and bring their A+ game to the plate, and seeing Micheal Lennox has been here several times. He knows exactly what is needed to reamain the champs.

[Fury goes stumbling forward straight to Blade, who tags himself in as Fury hits the ropes.]

DDK: Blade has just tagged himself into the match.

[Fury bounces back as Blade rushes at Lennox. Blade tries to clothesline Lennox, but Lennox ducks. As he comes up, he is caught in a waistlock position by Fury, lifting Lennox high up in the air. From behind Lennox after bouncing off the ropes comes Blade, who bulldogs Lennox down while Fury nails a modified flapjack at the same time. The ref forces Fury out of the ring, and Blade raises his hands in the air, getting the crowd going.]

Crowd: DYNASTY!!! DYNASTY!!! DYNASTY!!! DYNASTY!!! DYNASTY!!! DYNASTY!!!

AS: Wow, what a match these two teams are putting on! Both of these teams are championship material! Look at the teamwork!

DDK: Yeah, but we all know that Rowell and Lennox will remain the champions. It's just a matter of minutes.

AS: I don't know... If Blade and Fury can keep the momentum. We might have new champions.

DDK: Want to bet?

AS: Nope, sports gambling is a no-no.

[Blade pulls Lennox to his feet, but Lennox hits Blade with a knife-edge chop. Blade, surprised, stumbles backwards. Lennox goes for another, but Blade grabs Lennox's arm, twists, and drops to the mat, pulling Lennox with him. Lennox screams out in pain holding his arm, and Blade grabs Lennox by the legs. He drags Lennox over one of the unoccupied corners and grabs him for a catapult. Blade hits Lennox with a catapult, sending him face first into the turnbuckle. Lennox stumbles backwards, and he's taken down with a crucifix backslide. The ref drops to the mat and counts.]

[1... ]

[Kickout by Lennox.]

DDK: Did you see that? Blade is so afraid of losing he tried to go for an early pin. What a wuss.

AS: What are you talking about? That was a great combination of moves that, if used later in the match, could have given Blade and Fury the win!

DDK: Yeah sure if you say so, Arnold.

[Blade pulls Lennox to his feet, but Lennox catches Blade with a shot to the gut, then Lennox takes Blade over with a snapmare before making the tag to Rowell. Rowell leaps up to the second turnbuckle before leaping off with a massive stomp to the injured knee before going for the cover.]

[1...]

[2...]

DDK: Kick out by Blade

AS: Looks like the champs has decided to target the leg of Blade.

DDK: Smart wrestling by the champions. Seeing that Blade's knee has been bothering him, since. The scaffold match back in AWA, last month.

[Rowell hops back up and rushes at Blade. He dives to drop an elbow, but Blade rolls out of the ring, and Rowell gets pure mat. Blade slides back in and rushes to his corner to tag in Fury, but Rowell reaches over and grabs Blade's feet, forcing him to crash face-first onto the mat inches away from Fury's hand. Rowell, still holding on to Blade's feet, pulls him away from his corner.]

AS: Blade tried to make to tag to Fury, but Rowell stopped him in his tracks.

DDK: Tag team wrestling 101, right there. When you have your opponent hurt. Make sure he is unable to tag his partner in. Rule 34 of the Tag team rule book.

AS: I think you memorized last night in your hotel room.

[Rowell grabs Blade in a front facelock before drilling him into the mat with a DDT. Rowell makes the tag to Lennox. Lennox climbs up to the top turnbuckle before leaping off with a big fist drop to the injured knee. Lennox goes for the cover and hooks the leg.]

[1...]

[2...]

AS: Blade kicks out again.

DDK: Dammit, Blade should just give up, and save his leg anymore punishment.

AS: I dom't think the word 'QUIT' is in Blade's voacabulary.

DDK: Well it should be or Blade might need a wheelchair, after this match.

[Lennox grabs Blade by the knee and connects with a devastating kneebreaker before locking on a figure-four leglock. The ref checks on Blade when Lennox leans back and Rowell pulls on his arms for added leverage.]

DDK: Lennox knows every rule in the book.

AS: And Rowell knows how to break every one of them.

[Rowell lets go when the ref looks towards Lennox. Lennox yells at the ref to check on Blade. The ref checks on Blade when Rowell grabs Lennox's arms again.]

AS: Nope, got caught this time.

DDK: Damn referees.... All Rowell was doing was giving Lennox, a helping hand.

AS: He was cheating.

[The ref yells for the break and starts to count.]

[1...]

[2...]

[3...]

[4...]

[Lennox finally lets go and breaks the hold. Lennox delivers a well-placed stomp to the knee before making the tag to Rowell.]

AS: Another quick tag by the champs.

[Rowell lifts Blade up for a powerbomb, but Blade, having great ring awareness, sunset flips and takes Rowell down with a modified looking hangman's neckbreaker. Blade, exhausted, stays down on the mat, as does Rowell, down from the big reversal. The ref walks over to check on both men, and, after finding both are ok, starts the mandatory count.]
AS: What a sweet looking counter Blade pulled off.

[1...]

[2...]

[3...]

DDK: Too bad Blade can't captilaze on the move.

[4...]

[5...]

[6...]

AS: Neither man can... It looks to be gut check time. Seeing the referee has made it to six, and neither man is stirring, yet.

[7...]

[As the count reaches 8, Fury and Lennox are both pounding hard on the top turnbuckles. Rowell and Blade both start to get up at the same time, and reach their feet right before the count reaches 10.]

AS: BOTH MEN ARE BACK TO THEIR FEET!!!

[Rowell catches Blade off guard with a discus punch, which sends Blade backwards into Lennox. Lennox grabs a hold of Blade in a full nelson, and then slams him down hard on the top turnbuckle. Fury, tired of waiting on the sidelines, springboards onto the top rope, then takes Rowell down with a missile dropkick.]

DDK: Damn, Fury has great agility. CLEARING THE WHOLE RING!

[The ref gets in Fury's face, and Fury starts to argue that Lennox wasn't the legal man in, and he didn't get yelled at, so why should he?]

AS: The referee is arguing with Fury about illegally entering the ring.

[In the meantime, Lennox has run around the apron behind Fury. He gives running clothesline to the back of the skull that sends Fury into a Headbutt on the ref, knocking him out cold. Fury falls to the mat, and Lennox lifts him up and sends him into the ropes. Fury bounces back and Lennox knocks him out with a brutally stiff Yakuza Kick.]

DDK: What a stiff kick by Micheal Lennox

[Lennox grabs Blade and attempts to do the same, but when Blade bounces off the ropes he catches Lennox with a leapind shining wizard out of nowhere, which knocks Lennox out cold. Blade drops down on Lennox, not knowing that there wasn't a tag, and makes a pin. It's then that he finds there is no referee. Blade stands up in frustration, and goes check on the referee.]

AS: Blade could have won this match if it wasn't for the referee being knocked out.

DDK: No he couldn't Micheal Lennox isn't even the legal man. CJ Rowell is.

AS: Blade better turn around, because Rowell is set to strike on him.

[Meantime, while Blade was checking on the referee. Rowell slid out of the ring, and grabbed one of the tag titles. Once Blade somewhat got the referee to start stirring a little, he turned around and got blasted by Rowell using the Tag Title. Rowell quickly tosses the title out of the ring, and picks up Blade and drives him into the mat with Blackstar suplex. Rowell goes for the cover.]

AS: Rowell has stolen the match from Blade and Fury.

[The referee slowly makes his way over to do count.]

[One…]

[Two…]

[Three….]

DDK: So what if he did. Rowell and Lennox are still the World Tag Team champions of the WWA.

AS: But their match was transvesity. They blatantly used a foreign object that should have immediately disqualified them on the spot, which would have made Blade and Fury the champions. Due to the stiplualations.

DDK: Yeah but how does that old saying go... A referee can't disqualify on what he does not seeing. So it looks like OCW came in with all the gold, and our now leaving with all gold.

AS: I still think OCW is just bunch of cheaters and don't deserve to wear any gold of the alliance.

[Backstage, there is a locker room door marked "Ryan Storm". A hand reaches from off camera and knocks on the door. A few seconds pass before the door swings open and we are greeted by Ryan Storm. He is in a black t-shirt and black and white sweat pants. The camera pans out a little to show that the door was knocked on by OCW President Eric Ramirez. Ramirez is in a black suit with a grey undershirt and black tie.]

Ramirez: Evening Ryan, how you feeling?

[Storm smirks a little.]

Storm: I'm a little sore but it's part of the game. Come in, Eric.

[Storm steps out of the doorway as Ramirez and the camera enter the room. Storm closes the door and looks back over at Ramirez, who is holding a manila envelope in hand. It's crunch time now. He can't help but notice that Ramirez is standing near the wall with his hands in his pant pockets. He must be just waiting for Storm to blurt out his answer.]

Ramirez: So, have you come to a conclusion on what we talked about last week?

[Quick recap: Ramirez found out Storm's contract was expiring on September fourth at midnight. If he decides not to re-sign with WMW, he's a free agent in a few hours. Ramirez offered a nice contract to Storm with a guarenteed match with the man who beat him in the Silverhawk Tournament Finals, Nick Journey (formerly GES). Since Storm's girlfriend Amy Sparks is now under contract to OCW, Storm has been in heavy thought all week about his answer. Storm said he'd answer Ramirez tonight and now is as good a time as any.]

Storm: It's been a big struggle for me to come up with an answer for you. I've gone back and forth all week. I've got to do what's good for me and my career.

[Ramirez smiles a possible fake smile. He really doesn't care either way and might have an ulterior motive to sign Storm away from WMW. But that's something only he would know about.]

Storm: So I've made my decision and I am going to sign with you and OCW. I want to advance my career and take the next step and I also want to get my hands around the neck of Nick Journey and break it. I can't do that in WMW, AWA or any other company.

[Ramirez is now pleased as he got what he wanted. He hands the manila envelope to Storm with a smile on his face.]

Ramirez: It's my pleasure to welcome you to Outlaw Championship Wrestling, Ryan. You have made a wise decision.

[Storm opens the envelope and pulls out a stack of papers. As Ramirez points out where to sign, we leave them to do their business.]

Summer Games [Semi-Finals]
Team NWA
vs
Team Summit
***************************************************************

DDK: Alright while we we're backstage the WWA ring crew have worked tirelessly to construct this contraption of pain around the original ring and another ring, we're all a little cramped here in Winnipeg.

AS: You can say that again, my nose is half an inch away from the steel cage.

[The cage covers two rings, and is pushing the limits the area of space inside the guardrail.]

DDK: The entrants from NWA & WMW who will enter this barbaric environment have been decided backstage, we don't have the details ourselves, all we know is that two men will enter to begin with, one from each team.

AS: After five minutes another man will enter from what team we have no clue.

DDK: One man has to compete for two minutes against two before the odds are evened.

AS: This continues until all men have entered the environment and then the first man to submit, surrender or simply be knocked unconscious his team loses. Pinfalls count for shit and you cannot be DQed.

DDK: After that the other members of the losing team will leave the structure, and it's a battle to the end inside this Cage, but from that point onwards pinfall & DQ's are allowed.

The first man to enter the Cage was Thomas Bane. Following him was Vinny Mara. Meaning that NWA would be the team to pick up the two on one advantages when the times was due. Mara & Bane felt each other out with some cautious tie ups, indecision and clever counters, it took time for either to gain an advantage when that did occur it was Bane who seized it.

Bane went into a Suplexathon hitting several varieties before going for Mara's legs with first a Rolling Leglock Takedown, as Bane attempted to apply a figure four, Mara was able to force him off with several kicks to the chest. Bane wasn't going to allow the momentum to switch however as he quickly then began to brutalize Mara against a turnbuckle with several strikes - chops, punches and kicks.

Mara escaped an attempted Piledrvier hitting a Back Body drop, Mara with stomps kept Bane on the canvas, and drew him back up to hit a Tornado DDT.

The Buzzer sounded, five minutes were up, who would be next into the fray, someone from WMW or NWA?

The answer, stalked to the ring, eager for action. His name was Jack Turney and he was greeted to the action by a Spinning back heel kick by 'the Exile'. Mara sensing the trouble he was in quickly hit a Diving Reverse DDT as Turney rose, Bane was quickly back to his feet and involved however and Mara was taken off his feet and planted with a Dropkick to the Chest and Bane proceeded to lock on an Armbar, Turney joined the action quickly stomping the trapped WMW wrestler. Turney & bane combined to hit Bearhug hold (Bane), high kick combination (Turney) & Double back suplex side slam.

The two then tossed Mara to the corner and laid into him, until the Buzzer sounded.

Out ran Ryan Storm, eager to save the flagging Mara, the quick cruiserweight ducked the double clothesline that was supposed to greet him to the fray hitting the far side ropes and nailing both Bane & Turney with a Dropkick a foot to each's chest.

It wasn't long however before the NWA duo overpowered Storm, and after a Russian leg sweep (Turney), clothesline (Bane) combo on Storm, Turney threw Storm into the second ring while Bane went back after Mara who'd only just begun to stir. NWA dominated for a minute until Storm managed to counter an attempted Dragonscrew leg whip with an Enziguri. Bane having dismissed Mara's effectiveness for a while with a Sit out Powerbomb, watched as Storm as he landed with a Double stomp from top rope, then negotiated the ropes and caught Storm as he rose with a kick to gut and DDT.

The buzzer sounded. Out walked… Tyler Cross.

Turney & Bane united once more against Ryan Storm, the pair this time hitting a Bearhug hold (Bane), flying crossbody combination (Turney). Cross entered and received instructions from his fellow NWA competitors to keep Mara occupied.

Storm was subjected to a minute of Bane & Turney hitting him with all they had, while Cross failed in his task having hit Mara with a Monkey Flip and an Uppercut. Mara coming back after a rake to the eyes, scoop slam and an arm drag to arm bar. Turney left Bane to deal with Storm and re-entered the first ring. Breaking the submission hold and taking Mara over with an Oklahoma slam. Turney followed this up with a Kneebreaker and a blatant strangle hold, but no DQ's. Meanwhile Storm got nailed with a Thomas Bane Body Splash onto opponent in the corner following an Irish whip.

The buzzer sounded. Out walked, to the pop of the night. Christian Light, who wasted no time entering the fray, sprinting down to ringside.

Light quickly fired of Forearms on Cross and Turney each reciveing equal amount, down went Cross, several meaty Light forearms later down went Turney. Light then negotiated the ropes and came face to face with Bane who was stomping Storm. Bane felt the presence and smiled, the two began to circle as Storm rolled out of the way happy to no longer be Thomas Bane's doormat.

Light takes the centre of the ring, Bane circles the periphery, Light looks to tie up but Bane avoids it and plants a kick to the back of Lights knee, Light for half a second is on one knee but quickly recovers to stand and turn to face Bane before the NWA wrestler can follow up the quick. Again they circle, in for the tie up, both look for the technical victory first but the lighter Bane keeps low and gives nothing to his bigger adversary. Thus the Last Nighthawk reverts to pushing Bane back against the turnbuckle he fires off several chopss, having cornered Bane. Light pulls Bane out the corner and looks for a Belly to Belly Suplex, gets it despite, Bane attempting to counter with a armbar. A headlock takedown followed before Light released awaited Bane's return to his vertical base and sent him staggering backwards with a Dropkick to the chest.

Bane didn't go down however, the cage halting his momentum, though stunned for a moment as Light began to get to his feet Bane was quick to take advantage and charged forward taking Light down with a dropkick of his own to the chest of the rising Light. Bane quickly stomped Light several times before pulling him back to his feet whipping him to the ropes that didn't have a steel cage before them on the rebound Light got taken down with a Droptoe Hold, Bane looked for his BoyE finisher but Light's power made sure that the WMW wrestler couldn't be trapped.

Bane gave up on that and quickly dropped an Elbow into the back of Lights head.

Meanwhile… Turney was the first to recover, having decided that discretion was the better part of valor where the Bane/Light confrontation was concearned. Had dragged the Ryan Storm under the two sets of ring ropes and is grating his face against the stage. Cross is bringing Mara to his feet, but Mara raked the eyes, and quickly took Cross down with a spinning Spinebuster, Mara is quick to apply a rolling leglock. With Storms face impression imprinted on the cage Turney breaks it up. Taking Mara on the rise down with a Snap Suplex, then a Sidewalk Slam, then a irish whip to the cage.

Buzzer sounds, out should come NWA's last guy Mimic but no… It's "The Star of the Show" Jimmy Riley. Riley confidentially strolls to the ring and enters.

Bane hit's Light with a DDT, then a legdrop across the back of the head and finally a second DDT before he ascends the turnbuckle.

Riley having entered ends Jack Turneys domination of Vinny Mara with Yakuza Kick, followed up by a Belly-to-Back Suplex. Mara & Storm are moving finally, and have decided to concentrate their attack on Cross. Cross gets a spinning leg sweep (Mara), spinning heel-kick (Storm) combo for his trouble. They part, await Cross's return to his feet and cautiously use the ropes for momentum to hit a running lariat (Mara), running chop block (Storm) combo. Riley nails Turney with a Lungblower.

Meanwhile… Bane form the second turnbuckle leaps…

Nobody home as Light takes avoiding action as Bane is midair. Bane hits the canvas hard, Light is on him quick as a 280 lbs flash applying an ankle lock.

Elsewhere it's WMW ontop for sure. Riley plants Turney with a Irish Whip into Turnbuckle, followed by a Running Dropkick. Riley mounts the turnbuckle. Storm and Mara hit a Double Russian legsweep on Cross before the two combine to throw Cross face first into the cage.

Riley with a diving second rope clothesline nails the rising Turney, Bane reaches the ropes and Light releases, despite the fact that the no DQ rule is in affect, What a nice guy.

Bane gets to his feet greeted by a Forearm from Light, Bane counters with two uppercuts to the breadbasket of Light and drop toe holds Light into the cage.

Riley with a Kneebreaker on Turney doesn't release switches his focus of his hold and takes Turney over with a Belly to Belly Suplex. The Mara/Storm combination are stomping the life out of Cross, they haul him up and hit a double firemans carry slam.

Bane lays in several fists to the back of Lights head which is resting on the ropes.

Turney returns to his feet, Riley swings with a clothesline, Turney ducks European uppercut by Turney, clothesline into the steel cage sends Riley down. Turney hauls Riley back to his feet. Scoops Riley up and hits a Backbreaker.

Mara & Storm combine for a Sidewalk slam (Storm), headlock takedown (Mara) on Cross. Turney leaves Riley and rakes Mara in the eyes, nails Storm with a closed fist and slams him down with a charging Lariat following it up with an elbow drop. Elsewhere, Light is locked in a Sleeperhold of Bane's.

Buzzer sounds, out runs Mimic can he even the odds for NWA?

No.

Riley greets him with a couple of closed fists as he enters, followed up with a Lungblower and a Brainbuster, Mimic aint making an impression. Light is staggering under the influence of a Bane Sleeper. While Turney has Storm locked in a Fujiwara armbar. Ignoring Mimic, Riley and Mara combine, Riley pushes Cross towards Mara, who hit's a Spinebuster & quickly applies a Texas cloverleaf.

DDK: Who will quit first? Will Mimic make a save?

Riley hauls Mimic up, delivers another Brainbuster.

AS: He aint doing shit.

Light still trying to fight the Bane sleeper goes down to one knee. Storm is struggling courtesy of Turney's armbar, acouple fo stomps from Riley relieve Storm, Riley enters the second ring, a clothesline to Bane assists the escape of Light.

To the other ring trudges Riley, all around him are downed bodies Cross is looking the most vulnerable in Mara's Cloverleaf. Riley stomps the head of Cross, then applies a neck crank on Cross.

Light and Bane rise, bane blocks a Light forearm, fires back. Storm is in trouble as Turney looks to save Cross but first nails Storm with an Oklahoma slam. Mimic is moving, just.

Cross finally taps!

*Ding, Ding!*

DDK: It's over! Two submissions been Tyler Cross has thrown in the towel, NWA are through.

AS: Whoo!

All the wrestlers look wide eyed at the referee except Cross who's face is implanted in the canvas, and Mara & Riley who are celebrating. Turney looks rueful, as does Bane.

The NWA competitors looks around and slowly leave the rings through the door in the cage, Turney aiding Mimic, Bane carrying Cross.

DDK: So WMW win Summer Games.

AS: Who takes the individual honors is the only question remaining at Summer Games. Riley has my vote.

DDK: Were not waisting any time, we're moving on right to the final match of the evening.

DDK: What a night it has been and with Storm no longer a factor in this contest, Christian Light might be in over his head! If I were the referee, I might seriously consider stopping this one if it gets out of control. Theses men are wrestling inside of a steel cage!

AS: Stop th
