[A dramatic shot unfolds, showing Ashley Hyatt and Jonesy Frost through the barriers of the ring ropes. As if entrapped by the 'cage' of the ring, the duo work furiously on the other side... shoveling an unknown substance under the ring, with frivolous effort.]
Ashley Hyatt: "Hurry up, Jonesy. People will be coming in soon!"
Jonesy Frost: "I'm trying man... but that's a hell of a lot of..."
[Darkness invades the screen until flashes of light and sound take over.]
[A montage of historical Crockett Cup Matches flash through the screen.]
[With the final picture being of the last set of Crockett Cup Champions, Violence, Inc holding the trophy and the check.]
[Another montage of photos showing this year's competitors soon comes across as a voice booms out from the unknown.]
V/O: In 2003, The Jim Crockett, Sr Memorial Tag Team Tournament made its grand return by crowning a team that defied the odds.
V/O: Now, it's 2004 and a new field of challengers have come from across the world in the hopes of adding their names to the grand cup.
V/O: The field of sixteen has been set. Who will stand victorious as we are ready to New Orleans ablaze with the best in tag team wrestling facing off for a spot in history.
Kusuo: Welcome everyone to our first joint venture since joining the WWA. As Burning Phoenix Puro teams up with Bayou Wrestling Association and Silver State Wrestling to bring you the 2004 edition of the Crockett Cup Tag Team Tournament. Along with Joe Shinobi, I'm Kensei Kusuo. And Shinobi-san, we have a packed event for tonight.
Shinobi: You are very correct. Sixteen teams from all over the Allience have venture here to New Orleans and the Louisiana Superdome for a shot at this beautiful trophy that is sitting between us and a cashier's check for One Million Dollars.
Kusuo: Last year, the cinderella team of Violence, Inc shocked a lot of critics and took home the top proze, defeating Shaken Not Stirred. Will we see another Cinderella in the making? We shall see. So, let me send it over to our broadcast comrades, BWA's own AJ and BJ.
[Scene switches to ringside where we find AJ and BJ sitting behind their table with some rabid fans behind them trying to get on camera.]
BJ: Thanks, Kusuo. Eight big matches, with some unusual pairings. There are some favorites like Manifest Destiny and Mutual Benefit to watch out for but also look out for teams like Matt McClain and "Irish" Ryan Beckett, Brute Force, and the duo of R.J. Harris and Marc McCarthy.
AJ: Yeah, that's true but you might want to keep your eye on the new World Tag Team Champions, Forces of Nature. They will shock you. They have only had two matches and both times took home gold.
BJ: Well, I think the talking is over. Let's get Crockett Cup 2004 underway as we go to our ring announcer, Ray Albright!!!
RA: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the 2004 Crockett Cup Tag Team Tournament. The following First Round Match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, already in the ring. Hailing from New York and weighing 500 lbs. They are Citizen Kane and Scott Skinner...THE NEW YORK WRECKING CREW!!!!
[A few boos and hisses from the fans greet the duo as they look around in shock.]
RA: And their opponents...
[The hard, opening electric riffs from Blush's "Word From The Wise" blare throughout the arena...]
[On the jumbotron appears a vast mountainous landscape. The view sweeps at enormous speed across rocky steppes, river valleys, and sheer cliffs, approaching a flat peak. Two figures, tiny at a distance but growing larger as the shot zooms in, stand with arms folded, surveying the world around them with the imperious air of conquerors.]
[Two words strobe over this image: MANIFEST DESTINY.]
[Blue and white pyro explodes from the stage, and those same two figures stride out onto the ramp: Seth Maverick and "The Stormin' Mormon" Brigham Smith. Almost immediately, the fans are booing them relentlessly.]
[Maverick is tall and muscular, sporting a head of messy, shoulder-length black hair and an unshaven face. He wears black khaki pants with "MAVERICK" down the left leg in silver letters, black boots, and white tape on his fists. Smith -- smaller but lithe in appearance -- is clad in short blue-and-white tights, white pads and boots. He also wears a hooded vest that is blue in front, white in back with the initials "TSM" written in blue; the hood is pulled over his short unkempt brown hair. Tucked under his arm is a leather-bound edition of the Book of Mormon.]
[Behind them appears two men: one large and stocky, dressed in a crisp white ship captain's uniform, the other tall and lean, and dressed like a cowboy -- their Syndicate colleagues, The Skipper and Ash the Man-Soon. Together, the four men stride purposefully down the ramp...]
Ring Announcer: Now coming to the ring, accompanied by The Skipper and Ash the Man-Soon... At a combined weight of 485 pounds... Representing the Syndicate of EVIL... Seth Maverick and "The Stormin' Mormon" Brigham Smith -- MANIFEST DESTINY!
[Amid loud jeering, the foursome enters the ringside area. The Skipper and Ash remain on the floor, while Smith and Maverick slide into the ring. Seth goes to his team's corner and leans listlessly against the turnbuckles, while Brigham limbers up in preparation for the bell.]
[DING!!!!! DING!!!!! DING!!!!!]
[The bell rings as Scott Skinner and Seth Maverick circle each other in the ring before locking up in a collar and elbow tie-up. Maverick quickly comes away with a side headlock. Skinner tries to fight his way out but Maverick quickly switches out of the headlock and into a hammerlock. Skinner quickly ducks under and reverses it into a hammerlock of his own. Maverick looks around before making his way to the ropes as the ref calls for the break.]
BJ:Maverick doing a little feeling out in the early going.
AJ:Yeah, but it's still just a matter of time til we see the infamous trout-slap.
[Skinner gives him a clean break before backing up. Maverick shakes out the arm a little bit before going to his corner and talking things out with Brigham before going in for another tie-up. Skinner buries a quick knee into the midsection before firing in a right hand. Skinner whips a stunned Maverick into the ropes and goes for a back drop but Maverick leapfrogs over and hits the nearside ropes when Skinner goes for a hiptoss but Maverick blocks it and reverses it into a clothesline. Skinner gets back to his feet and charges into a thumb in the eye. Maverick grabs Skinner and throws him into his corner and makes the tag to Brigham Smith. Brigham and Maverick try to pummel Skinner in the corner but Skinner fires back with rights until he gets back to the center of the ring. The ref yells at Maverick to get out of the ring when Brigham waits in the middle of the ring. Brigham points to Citizen Kane as if he wants him in the ring.]
BJ: The former champs seemed to be in a mood and the New York Wrecking Crew look to be the poor victims.
[Skinner makes the tag to Citizen Kane, who calmly steps through the ropes and looks at Brigham with an eager look. Brigham continues to speak a little prayer before they lock up and Citizen Kane immediately shoves him across the ring like a little kid. Brigham just looks up in amusement.]
BJ:Citizen Kane showing some power and guts in the early going.
AJ: It won't matter
[Brigham gets to his feet and dusts himself and goes back for another tie-up but Citizen Kane catches him with a waistlock while Brigham fires away with numerous shots to the head before hitting the ropes and brings him down with a hooking clothesline. Brigham gets to his feet again while Brigham looks around to the crowd before hitting the ropes and ducks under a clothesline from Citizen Kane before hitting the ropes again and makes a blind tag to Maverick. Citizen Kane goes for another clothesline but Brigham ducks under and turns Citizen Kane around into a boot into the midsection. Maverick hits the ropes and takes Citizen Kane down with a high impact DDT.]
BJ:Good teamwork by the former World Tag Team Champions.
[Maverick gets to his feet and stomps away at the head of Citizen Kane before dragging him up by the hair. Maverick grabs a front face lock and takes Citizen Kane over with a vertical suplex and rolls through for the cover.]

AJ: Maverick picked him up.
[Maverick drags Citizen Kane to his feet and makes the tag to Brigham, who quickly climbs up to the top turnbuckle and connects with an elbow to the head of Citizen Kane. Citizen Kane tries to stay on his feet when Brigham hits the ropes and drives Citizen Kane down to the mat with a bulldog faceslam. Skinner jumps into the ring and gets taken out with a spear. Citizen Kane slowly rolls back into the ring and put into the mat with a spinebuster. Maverick gets to his feet and signals that it's over and motions for Brigham to go up top. Maverick picks up Citizen Kane and gets underneath him while Brigham climbs up to the top turnbuckle and takes Kane down with a tornado DDT and follows up with a cover and the hook of the leg.]
BJ: Citizen Kane just became a victim of Damnation!!!!

AJ: Manifest Destiny wins this one in dominant fashion.
BJ: They are on a mission to get those titles back, that's for sure.
[As the ring clears, the crowd erupts in cheers... as Ashley Hyatt appears on the entranceway. He looks a bit confused, and has massive bulges from either of his pockets. He waves cheerfully to the fans, as he makes his way to the ring... ducking under the apron, and obviously emptying his pockets.]
AJ: What is he doing? Unloading weapons?
BJ: That's not like FoN, what's gotten into them?
[After emptying his pocket, Hyatt waves once more, before returning up the entrance ramp.]
Kusuo: And it looks like the new World Tag Team Champions are up to something.
Shinobi: We will try to stay on this story and see what develops. But, first we have this breaking story. Due to some travel problems, Alpha Wolf of the Warriors and Marc McCarthy are not in the building to compete. Due to the nature of the event, this match can not be re-scheduled. Therefore, officials from BWA/SSW and Burning Phoenix have signed a special match. Goliath of The Warriors and R.J. BJ: Wendy and Twister pull out the victory.
AJ: The Birdz made a hell of a run last year. I don't know if they can do it again. What do you think, Kusuo?
Kusuo: The WhirlyBirdz have been very impressive and Burning Phoenix can't wait to release One Night Only when Twister Thompson went one on one with WWA National Heavyweight Champion, Erik Cross.
Shinobi: A most spirited contest and that footage will be in stores shortly along with a lot of great puro action.
Kusuo: I think it's time to continue on with the First Round.

[Now emerging from the curtain is "The Wizard" Bryan Smith. Smith is wearing a pair of baggy blue jean pants and no shirt. He doesn't have the WWA Double crown championship anymore, but replacing that is an extremely pissed off look.]
[He gets into the ring, after walking down the ramp. He looks at the crowd as he climbs the turnbuckle throwing his arms up in balls of fists. Some cheer, some boo as he does that. But a moment later he is down as the referee checks him.]
RA: And his tag team partner.... BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
(The arena erupts into cheers as Alkaline Trio's All On Black begins to play. The huge fireworks explode in alternating colors of Silver and gold as highlights of Jeremy Knyte appear on the Bayou-Tron!)

RA: And their opponents.. Weighing in at a combined weight of 406 lbs and hailing from British Columbia, Canada. They are the BWA/SSW Unified Tag Team Champions and NEW WWA World Tag Team Champions. They are Jonesy Frost and Ashley Hyatt...FORCES OF NATURE!!!!!!
[The lights in the Louisiana Superdome fade into blackness, as green spotlights dance about the crowd, followed shortly by a barrage of green strobe lights. "Learn to Fly" by The Foo Fighters blasts over the loudspeakers, as the two Canadian Youths of 'The Forces of Nature' head out onto the entranceway, with their WWA Tag Titles strapped around their waists.]
Run and tell all of the angels
This could take all night
Think I need a devil to help me get things right
Hook me up a new revolution
Cause this one is a lie
We sat around laughing and watched the last one die
[Jonesy stops in awe at the sight before him, barely able to contain his excitement... as Hyatt elbows him in the ribs - motioning for him to head down the walkway. Under each arm, the two carry a rather thick amount of cardboard, for no apparent reason.]
I'm looking to the sky to save me
Looking for a sign of life
Looking for something to help me burn out bright
[The two boys dart off around either side of the ring, handing a piece of cardboard to anyone in the front row who will accept it. A wave of confusion works it's way through the front row, as questioning faces look at the cardboard handed to them... before Hyatt and Frost slide into the ring, and mount opposite turnbuckles.]
I'm looking for complication
Looking cause I'm tired of trying
Make my way back home when I learn to fly
[The two raise their arms valiently, before a frustrated look crosses their face. Frost points to a few people in the front row, motioning for them to hold their cardboard up... turning the front row of the Ericsson Stadium into the biggest fans the Forces of Nature have, to date.]
I think I'm done nursing the patience
I can wait one night
I'd give it all away if you give me one last try
We'll live happily ever trapped if you just save my life
Run and tell the angels that everything is alright...
Fly along with me, I can't quite make it alone
Try and make this life my own
[Newly energized by the flurry of laughter and morale, the boys heft their titles into the sky... wearing massively goofy grins, before switching turnbuckles. The song slowly begins to fade, as the two drop down... and begin to warm up for the battle ahead of them. Both being barely able to contain their excitement, they soon stop... and begin to glance around the ring at the signs they had created earlier in the day.]
[The referee heads over to their corner, patting down each of the boys. Frost first, and the ref is quite relieved to find nothing more than an eyepatch on Jonesy, and a copy of "The Alexandria Journal" on Hyatt. Shaking his head in confusion, he removes the items... before allowing the duo to warm up.]
[DING!!!!! DING!!!!! DING!!!!!]
[The bell rings as The Wizard and Ashley Hyatt circle each other in the ring before locking up in a collar and elbow tie-up. Hyatt quickly comes away with a side headlock. Wizard tries to fight his way out but Hyatt quickly switches out of the headlock and into a hammerlock. Wizard quickly ducks under and reverses it into a hammerlock of his own. Hyatt looks around before making his way to the ropes as the ref calls for the break.]
BJ: Hyatt starting to feel out the situation.
AJ: Yeah, but it's still very early.
[Wizard gives him a clean break before backing up. Hyatt shakes out the arm a little bit before going to his corner and talking things out with Frost before going in for another tie-up. Wizard buries a quick knee into the midsection before firing in a knife edge chop to the chest. Wizard whips a stunned Hyatt into the ropes and goes for a back drop but Hyatt leapfrogs over and hits the nearside ropes when Wizard goes for a hiptoss but Hyatt blocks it and reverses it into a hip toss of his own. Wizard gets back to his feet and charges into a forearm into the mouth. Hyatt grabs Wizard and throws him into his corner and makes the tag to Frost. Frost and Hyatt try to pummel Wizard in the corner but Wizard fires back with rights until he gets back to the center of the ring.]
BJ: Wizard fighting his way out on that exchange.
AJ: Looks like Hyatt and Frost are trying to take this thing seriously after that little squirrel incident.
[The ref yells at Hyatt to get out of the ring when Frost plays to the crowd before talking smack to Knyte. Frost points to Jeremy Knyte as if he wants him in the ring.]
BJ: Frost trying to get into the heads of Wizard and Jeremy Knyte but I don't know if that is a good idea.
AJ: In a word, no. Knyte will turn this guy into a greasespo on Bourbon Street.
[Wizard makes the tag to Knyte, who calmly steps through the ropes and looks at Frost with a "here I am" look. Frost continues to talk a little trash before they lock up and Knyte immediately shoves him across the ring like a little kid. Frost just looks up in mild amazement.]
BJ: Knyte just showing that power in the early going.
AJ: Frost does not know what he is getting himself into.
[Frost gets to his feet and dusts himself and goes back for another tie-up but Knyte catches him with a waistlock while Frost fires away with numerous shots to the head before hitting the ropes and gets dropped to the mat with a shoulder from a non-moving Knyte. Knyte goes for another clothesline but Frost ducks under and turns Knyte around into a double roundhouse kick to the upper body, followed by a pair of low roundhouse kicks to the legs. On the third time, Ashley connects with a kick to the front of the head, as Frost sweeps the opponent's legs from underneath them.]
BJ: Good teamwork by this team of Hyatt and Frost.
AJ: Forces of Nature are no slouches in the ring even if this is their third match or something.
[Hyatt gets to his feet and stomps away at the head of Knyte before dragging him up by the hair. Hyatt grabs a front face lock and takes Knyte over with a snap suplex and rolls through for the cover.]
1...
2...
AJ: Knyte easily kicks out of the first cover of the match-up.
[Hyatt drags Knyte to his feet and makes the tag to Frost, who leaps from the ropes... onto Ashley, who drops him facebuster style, across the chest of Knyte. Frost grabs Knyte by the arm and applies a rolling armbar... before switching his position to a fujiwara armbar. After a bit of wrenching on the arm, he switches again, to a triangle hold... before moving to a crossface. Shifting himself backwards, he straddles the opponent, locking on a reverse chinlock... before rolling it backwards into 'Eye of the Storm']
BJ: Either he didn't know what he was doing or Jonesy Frost just went through the best series of holds that I have ever seen and could get the tapout right here with that Dragon Sleeper.
[Wizard comes into the ring and stomps Frost in the head multiple times to break the hold. Wizard goes back to his corner and waits for the tag. Frost gets to his feet and quickly climbs up to the top turnbuckle and connects with a double ax-handle to the back of a slow-rising Knyte. Knyte tries to stay on his feet when Frost hits the ropes and drives Knyte down to the mat with a bulldog headlock. Hyatt swoops in as Frost lifts his victim into a powerbomb, and grabs him on the way down for a neckbreaker. Hyatt kips up, facing away from Knyte, as Frost, throws Knyte's legs towards him. Hyatt tucks Knyte's legs under his arms, as Jonesy pushes Knyte onto Hyatt's back, so that he and Knyte are back to back. Pausing for a second, Hyatt, hanging onto the legs of Knyte, whips down, as Frost catches Knyte's head in an Ace Crusher on the way down. Hyatt goes for the cover.]

2...
BJ: Knyte got the shoulder up.
AJ: I don't know how but the dead man is still going.
[Hyatt gets to his feet and pulls Knyte up to his feet and whips him to the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Knyte ducks under and nails Hyatt with an inverted DDT. Frost charges in and goes for a right hand but Knyte blocks and takes him down with an implant DDT. Knyte turns around and stretches out to make the tag as Wizard climbs up to the top turnbuckle and waits for Hyatt to get up before flying off with a double clothesline to the roar of the crowd.]
BJ: Wizard said he wanted to win this tournament, looks like he is trying to prove it.
[Wizard pulls Frost up to his feet and connects with a couple of right hands before whipping him into the ropes and knocks him down with a dropkick to the knee of Frost. Hyatt gets to his feet and rakes the eyes of Wizard before putting him into a standing scissors and goes for a powerbomb but Wizard goes over the top and rolls Hyatt up into a sunset flip before locking on a violent boston crab. Hyatt screams out in pain while the ref asks him if he wants to give it up when Frost rolls back into the ring and connects with a dropkick to the back of Wizard's head. Wizard releases the hold as Hyatt rolls out of the ring. Frost pummels away with a couple of right hands to the jaw of Wizard before pulling him up to his feet and whips him into the far corner before charging in with a monkey flip and flips Wizard out to the center of the ring. Frost stands poised in the corner waiting for Wizard to get to his feet. Knyte comes into the ring and shoves Wizard out of the way before taking a moonsault from the middle rope.]
AJ: Knyte just took the bullet for his partner.
[Frost goes for the cover.]
1...
2...
BJ: Wizard just broke up the cover again.
[Wizard pulls Frost to his feet and delivers a boot to the midsection before dropping him on his head with a fisherman's buster and hits the bridge.]
1...
2...
[Hyatt rolls back in and breaks up the cover.]
BJ: The action is getting fast and furious.
AJ: No kidding. I can't even tell who is legal.
[Hyatt grabs Wizard and plants him on the mat with a bodyslam and climbs up to the top turnbuckle while the ref tries to get everyone else out. The ref tries to get Frost out when Hyatt leaps off with a split-legged phoenix splash but Wizard rolls out of the way. Knyte grabs Hyatt and delivers a boot to the midsection before grabbing Hyatt by the hair and goes for a clothesline but Hyatt ducks under and sends Knyte over the ropes. Wizard gets to his feet and gets pulled into an inside cradle by Hyatt when the ref makes the count.]

[DING!!!!! DING!!!! DING!!!!]
BJ: And the new champs move on to Round Two after a very tough match-up against the duo of Wizard and Knyte.
AJ: The champs were just a step quicker on this night.
[Panting heavily, Jonesy slides out of the ring, grabbing a microphone. Pulling Ashley to his feet, the two raise their arms in the air... before Jonesy brings the microphone to his face.]
Jonesy Frost: "Well, we brought licorice for everyone... as we usually do. Problem is, we were out of garbage bags this morning - and were running too late to stop and get some. So, for anyone who wants some... there's licorice under the ring!"
[Ashley slides out, to retrieve a piece for himself... grasping under the ring, and emerging with a rather dust-ridden piece of dirty licorice. He makes a sickened face, as he looks to his partner... who merely shrugs.]
Ashley Hyatt: "Um, Jonesy?"
Jonesy Frost: "You must have gotten a bad one... grab another."
[Hyatt gropes under the ring, once more... this time, catching a piece that looks as if it had been run over by a thousand cars. Black, flat, and encrusted with dirt... Ashley tosses it to the side quickly, before wiping his hand on his pants - with a morbidly disgusted look on his face.]
[Sheepishly, Jonesy looks around to the fans at ringside...]
Jonesy Frost: "Um, we'll bring more next time?"
BJ: Is it just me or are the champs not wrapped too tight?
AJ: They get beat up by twelve-year kids and squirrels. Now, is that normal behavior?
BJ: Good point. Let's get back to the ring.
RA: The following First Round Match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, already in the ring. They are the combination of Deke RIVERS and Canis LEE!!!!
[A mixed reaction from the fans.]
RA: And their opponents, also in the ring are returning just for this event, they are the team known as BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED!!!!
[Another mixed reaction from the fans.]
[Ding!!! Ding!!!Ding!!!]
[The bell rings when Canis and Deke jump Switch from behind sending Cage out of the ring while they pummel away with numerous rights and lefts.]
BJ: It looks like Canis and Deke are trying to end this one before BNI can even get out of the gate.
AJ: Canis and Deke are showing that they are truly a cohesive unit and that they should be here but I still don't think so..
[Deke and Canis grab Switch and send him into the ropes with an irish whip and go for a double clothesline but Switch ducks under and hits the ropes before catching them with a double dropkick of his own.]
BJ: Switch about to sick with the mad hops after that tremendous dropkick..
AJ: Switch just nearly decapitated the both of them with his feet.
[Deke gets back to his feet and gets met with a big right hand from Switch. Canis gets to his feet and goes for a right hand but Switch blocks it and comes back with a right of his own that stuns Canis. Switch whips Canis into the ropes before catching him in a massive back body drop that sends Canis slamming down to the mat.]
AJ: Switch just back-dropped Canis like he was air.
[Deke sneaks up behind Switch and rakes the eyes of Switch before going for an irish whip but Switch reverses the whip and catches Deke coming back with a boot to the midsection and lifts him up in a vertical suplex and holds Deke there before slamming him to the mat.]
BJ: Right at this moment, Switch is dominating in the early going.
[Switch picks up Canis and throws him over the top rope to the floor. Deke gets back to his feet and catches Switch with a thumb to the eye before letting loose with a vicious knife edge chop to the chest. Deke follows up with another one that just leaves Switch slightly stunned. Deke quickly rakes the eyes before taking Switch down with a short discus clothesline. Deke gets to his feet and stomps away on Switch before hitting the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Switch sidesteps and sends Deke flying over the top rope and lands on top of Canis as they hit the floor.]
BJ: Switch is making Canis and Deke look like rank amatuers right now.
[Switch climbs up to the nearest corner while Canis and Deke get back to their feet.]
BJ: OH MY GOD!!! SUICIDE PLANCHA TAKES OUT CANIS AND DEKE!
Crowd: BWA!!!! BWA!!!! BWA!!!! BWA!!!! BWA!!!! BWA!!!!
BJ: Switch went aerial and the team of Canis and Deke couldn't stop the pain.
[Switch gets back to his feet and throws Deke back into the ring. A groggy Canis stops Switch from climbing back into the ring and connects with a left hand to the side of the head. Canis follows up with another left hand before picking Switch up and slamming him onto the floor. The ref yells for Switch to get back into the ring when Deke gets the ref's attention. Canis grabs a steel chair from ringside and waits for Switch to get up when his partner leaves his corner and grabs the chair and pulls it away. Canis turns around and goes for a left hand but Switch's partner blocks it and nails him with a big right hand. Switch rushes at Canis and connects with a high knee to the kidneys that sends him crashing into the barricade. Switch pulls Canis up to his feet and sends him into the metal barricade with major impact. Switch grabs Canis and connects with a vile DDT to the floor.]
BJ: Canis just got his running lights dimmed after that.
[Switch slides back into the ring when Deke catches him with a stomp in the head. Deke tries to pull Switch up to his feet and catches Switch with a low blow unbeknownst the ref.]
AJ: Deke uppercutted Switch right through the uprights.
[Switch's bent over in agonizing pain when Deke grabs a waistlock and connects with an overhead belly to belly suplex as both of them fall to the mat.]
BJ: Switch has been a house on fire in this match but Deke seems to have put that fire out. Switch needs to make a tag.
AJ: They won't do it. It's been true isolation.
[Switch and Deke get back to their feet when Switch goes for an irish whip but Deke reverses the whip and goes for a clothesline but Switch ducks under and hits the nearside ropes where he gets tripped up by Canis. Switch tries to grab Canis when Deke comes from behind with a high knee while Canis connects with a shot to the head as Switch hits the mat hard.]
BJ: Switch on the receiving end of a double whammy.
[Deke drags Switch up to his feet and goes for an irish whip into the far corner but Switch reverses the whip and sends Deke into the corner hard. Canis grabs Switch and turns him around into a forearm to the face and follows up with another before whipping Switch into the ropes but Switch comes back with a vicious spear to Canis and starts hammering away with right hands to the side of the head. Deke gets out of the corner before getting driven into the mat with another spear from Switch. Switch fires away with right hands to the side of the head while the fans continue to cheer him on.]
AJ: Switch is single-handedly taking on these two guys by himself in this match.
[Canis grabs Switch by the hair and drags him to his feet before connecting with a thumb to the eye. Canis picks up Switch and sets him up for a fireman's carry but Switch slides off his shoulders and takes Canis down to the mat with a double leg takedown. Switch holds on to both legs and slingshots Canis into Deke as both of them collide. Switch grabs Canis on the way back and takes him over with a side slam.]
BJ: Switch continues to press on in what has basically turned into a two on one handicap match.
AJ: This is not smart in my opinion. He has to make the tag while he still has a chance.
[Switch grabs a stunned Deke and whips him into the ropes before taking him over with a powerslam. Switch goes for the cover.]
1...
2...
BJ: Deke's still going as he kicks out at two.
[Cage continues to hold his hand out for a tag while Switch continues to reach for the tag. Switch starts puffing a little bit more when he grabs Canis and throws him over the shoulder and backs up into the corner. Switch charges and drills Canis into the mat with a running powerslam.]
AJ: Switch continues to go at them with full force while the ref has been losing control of this match since the opening bell.
[Switch slowly picks up Canis and sticks him into a standing scissors and looks for a powerbomb when Deke bounces off of the ropes and connects with a spinning heel kick to the face. Switch stumbles back when Deke grabs a hold of Switch and takes him down with a side russian legsweep. Deke goes for the cover.]
1...
2...
BJ: Switch with a powerful kickout at two.
[Canis finally goes to his corner while Deke takes Switch down with a drop toe hold near his corner. Deke makes the tag to Canis, who comes in and stomps away on the head and midsection of Switch. Canis quickly picks Switch up and throws him into a standing scissors before drilling him into the mat with a violent looking piledriver.]
AJ: Switch's head got planted right into the mat.
BJ: But how much more Switch does have left?
[Canis makes another timely tag to Deke. Canis slowly picks Switch up and drops him over the knee with a gutbuster while Deke leaps off of the top rope with a diving forearm to the throat.]
AJ: Switch is slowly getting picked apart.
[Deke is in full control here, as he takes Switch by the arm and whips him into the corner. Deke charges in with a head full of steam and nails Switch with a dropkick against the turnbuckle.]
BJ: Switch had absolutely nowhere to go and he took the full impact in the chest!
[Deke grabs him by the hair and leads him to the middle of the ring... No, Switch shrugging Deke's hands off of him, and he plants a boot right to Deke's midsection. Switch runs into the ropes and charges back with a swinging neckbreaker.]
AJ: NO! Deke spins through it and counters into a spinning neckbreaker of his own in the middle of the ring.
BJ: A hell of a countermove by Deke, and Switch is now on the canvas, cradling his head and neck.
[Deke drops down and goes for the cover and hooks the leg.]
1...
2...
BJ: Somehow, Switch got the shoulder up and he reaches for the tag once again.
[Cage goes back into his corner and waits for the tag while Deke and Canis continue to double team Switch.]
BJ: They've got him in a bad situation now.
[Deke connects with numerous knife edge chops to the chest of Switch.]
BJ: Switch is looking pretty tired right now.
[Deke grabs Switch and irish whips him to the far side. Deke hits the ropes behind him for more momentum.]
BJ: He's going to take his head off!
[Deke springs forward with a massive clothesline.]
AJ: NO! He ducked!
[Deke turns around quickly when Switch gains his footing and takes him over with a belly to belly suplex.]
BJ: Deke just got suplexed into a new zip code.
[Deke is down and looks in bad shape when Canis jumps into the ring and gets nailed with a powerful clothesline from Switch.]
AJ: Canis just got spun 360 degrees in the air on that one.
BJ: I think Switch just got more pissed off than before.
AJ: And we know that's possible.
[Switch snatches Canis up by the hair and whips him into the corner. Switch rushes in with a leaping splash. Canis reels out of the corner and falls flat on his face.]
BJ: We'll he finally make the tag?
[Switch reaches out for a tag when Deke grabs Switch from behind with a full nelson and takes him over with a dragon suplex and hits the bridge.]
AJ: SWITCH LANDED RIGHT ON HIS HEAD!!!!!

3!!!
[The ref calls for the bell and raises the hands of Canis Lee and Deke Rivers.]
BJ: What an effort by "Switch" McCormick but in the end, he couldn't get out of the ring and Canis Lee and Deke Rivers move on to tomorrow's next round.
Shinobi: Talk about a real lesson in isolating an opponent. Very good tag team work in that last match.
Kusuo: Most definitely.
RA: The Following First Round Match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, already in the ring. Weighing in at over 700 lbs. Garrett Stone....Unforgiven. They are BRUTE FORCE!!!!
[Massive boos rain down for the members of Brute Force.]
RA: And their opponents.
[The ring announcer quickly jumps out of the ring when The Soldiers of Redemption charge the ring when Stone and Unforgiven step out of the ring and meet them head on with both teams firing lefts and rights at ringside.]
AJ: Well, folks. I think that our chances of a wrestling match that flew out the window.
BJ: The Soldiers of Redemption know they have a major size difference against Brute Force. I guess their plan was to go in with everything they had.
AJ: And I guess starting a brawl with the biggest team in this tournament was smart thinking, too.
BJ: From McClain, nothing would surprise me.
[McClain blocks a right hand from Unforgiven and rams him face first into the steel barricade. Unforgiven tries for another right but McClain ducks and catches him by the hair and sends him into the steel barricade once more.]
AJ: Why is the ref out here instead of counting these guys out.
BJ: I don't think the match has even offically started yet.
[Stone continues to drive in numerous knee lifts into the midsection before grabbing a headlock and drags Beckett over to the announce table.]
BJ: Looks like Stone and Beckett are bringing their battle a little closer to us.
[Stone fires away with a couple of short right hands to the forehead and grabs Beckett before trying to slam him headfirst into the announce table but Beckett blocks and fires back with a back elbow to the ribs. Beckett fires back with numerous short right hands before slamming Stone head first into the table. Stone grabs his head in pain when Beckett slams him into the table once again. McClain climbs over the barricade and stomps away on the knees of Unforgiven before grabbing him by the hair. Unforgiven comes back with a rake of the eyes before dragging McClain through the crowd.]
BJ: Please excuse us if we having trouble calling the action but they seem to be all over the place.
AJ: And the ref is still trying to get Stone and Beckett in the ring so he can start the match.
[Beckett grabs a dazed Stone and stands him up against the ringpost while he goes over to the timekeeper's table and steals a steel chair and holds it in the air for the cheering fans to see. Stone still looks to be out of it when Beckett takes a home run swing and gets all ringpost when Stone barely gets away from the chairshot. Beckett drops the chair in pain when Stone waits for Beckett to turn around before blasting him with a big boot to the head.]
BJ: What a thunderous shot from Stone!!!!
AJ: But Beckett is so out of it from that shot, he forgot to fall down. He's still standing.
[Beckett continues to stand but barely when Stone takes aim and nails Beckett in the face knocking him down to the floor with a right hand. Stone grabs the mats in the area and pulls them apart, revealing bare concrete floor.]
BJ: Beckett might be dead after those shots from Stone and he is no small man.
AJ: Compared to Stone, he is a small man and it looks like Stone isn't done yet.
[Stone tries to pick Beckett up and kicks him in the midsection. Stone grabs a standing scissors and positions himself right over the bare floor. Stone picks Beckett up and looks for a piledriver but Beckett fights back and swings his legs back down to the ground. Beckett slips out of the scissors and connects with a low blow.]
BJ: Beckett with a desperation move to avoid that piledriver.
AJ: Yeah, he caught Stone flush in the little stones for sure.
[Stone continues to stand bent over in shock and pain when Beckett barely gets to his feet and grabs Stone in a front facelock before driving Stone into the floor with a vicious DDT as both men lay on the ground.]
BJ: OH MY GOD!!!! Beckett survived life and limb and he evened it up with that DDT.
AJ: And still no match yet.
[Unforgiven continues to beat McClain over the head with overhand rights, cutting McClain open in the forehead. Security tries to keep the fans away when Unforgiven grabs a bleeding McClain and sends him facefirst into a nearby wall with a forward side russian legsweep. Unforgiven slowly picks up McClain and leads him through the crowd until they get to just in front of the entranceway. Unforgiven continues to pummel away with right hands to the bloodied forehead of McClain before throwing him over the barricade and onto the ground below.]
BJ: DAMN! I know Unforgiven wants to win but he's trying to end a man's career by doing that.
AJ: This does not look good for McClain. He landed on his back and it had the most sickening thud that I have ever heard.
[Unforgiven looks down at what he did and looks towards the entranceway and makes his way through the crowd until he stands over the entranceway.]
BJ: He can't be serious. Unforgiven, don't do it!!
AJ: You never know what can drive a man to do certain things. Well, Unforgiven wants to win this tournament and that's all he can see right now.
[Unforgiven looks out to the crowd before he climbs up onto the barricade and leaps off with an elbowdrop onto the prone body of McClain while Unforgiven just sits there and laughs.]
Crowd: BOOOOOO!!!!!! BOOOOO!!!!!!!!! BOOOOOOOO!!!!
BJ: It's like a car wreck out here. The match needs to be stopped. Brute Force needs to be stopped.
AJ: But it can't be stopped. The match never started.
BJ: The ref has to have some discretion here. I mean McClain just got thrown out of the crowd almost ten to fifteen feet up onto his back. And if that wasn't enough, that bastardUnforgiven just leaped twenty feet onto him with an elbowdrop to the heart. Something has to be done.
AJ: Well, it looks like something will be done.
[Damage control and EMT's rush out and check on a bleeding and near unconscious McClain and the severely damaged Unforgiven still laid out on the floor while others check on a barely moving Beckett and Stone. The EMT's grab the stretchers and start to load McClain onto one and stabalize his neck while they try to load Unforgiven onto the other one.]
BJ: I'm sorry to see this folks, but it looks like there will be no match tonight.
AJ: The other EMT's are checking on Stone and Beckett now. Beckett seems to have a very bad cut on his forehead and is bleedly profusely.
BJ: Stone looks to be busted open as well.
AJ: Beeg, take a look at your monitor. Something is going on at the entranceway.
Crowd: BWA!!! BWA!!! BWA!!!
[The ref checks on McClain and Unforgiven when all of a sudden, McClain clocks a couple of EMT's and tries to free himself from the stretcher while Unforgiven kicks away a couple of guys from Damage Control. Beckett makes it up to his feet finally and makes his way up the aisle.]
BJ: It looks like The Soldiers of Redemption, Stone and Unforgiven are not done yet.
[Beckett makes his way to the entranceway and knocks down more members of Damage Control before getting to Unforgiven and pummels away with right hands to the jaw. Stone runs up and flies into Beckett as they continue to trade right hands. McClain finally gets out of the stretcher and takes the neckbrace off and nails Unforgiven in the face with it. A bleeding McClain unhooks the straps from the stretcher and pulls Unforgiven to his feet before knocking him silly with a big right hand to the roar of the crowd.]
AJ: I'll be damned. You can't stop The Soldiers of Redemption. They want to move on to the second round and say that they beat the biggest and meanest team to do it.
BJ: There just a couple of guys that love to compete.
[McClain wipes away some of the blood off of his face and drags Unforgiven by the hair towards the ring. Stone tries to get away from Beckett before coming back and goes for a clothesline but Beckett ducks and takes him up and over with a back drop. McClain and Unforgiven finally get to ringside while Beckett picks up Stone and drags him towards the ring as well. McClain throws Unforgiven into the ring and rolls in afterwards as the ref calls for the bell.]
AJ: YES!!! We finally have a legal match.
[There's the bell as McClain stands to his feet and waits before he charges at Unforgiven and knocks him down with a stiff running clothesline. McClain plays to the crowd before he picks Unforgiven back up by the hair but Unforgiven counters with a couple of chops to the chest before whipping McClain to the farside ropes. Unforgiven goes for a back elbow but McClain ducks under and sends Unforgiven to the mat with a double leg takedown before trying to lock on a sharpshooter.]
BJ: Damn! McClain looks to take out the legs of Unforgiven.
[Unforgiven quickly tries to fight the hold with some right hands until he finally grabs the ropes to call for the break and the ref gets in McClain's face before starting the count.]

[McClain breaks the hold and picks up Unforgiven and throws him into a neutral corner and starts to unload on him with vicious punches to the body and head and follows up with numerous knife edge chops. McClain shoots Unforgiven into the far corner and catches him coming out with a drop toe hold that slams him facefirst into the mat before running over and catching a not looking Stone with a right hand, knocking him out of the corner. McClain goes back to the attack on Unforgiven with stomps to the back of the head and knees. McClain makes the quick tag to Beckett before sending Unforgiven into the ropes and catches him with another drop toe hold before Beckett comes off the ropes and connects with a high legdrop to the head of Unforgiven and goes for the cover.]
1...
2...
BJ: That was a long two count but Stone was able to break it up.
AJ: How??
BJ: That intestinal fortitude. You got to want it. You want to win the Crockett Cup, you will bleed and give it everything you got.
[Stone comes in and stomps on Beckett when Unforgiven quickly kicks out when Beckett pulls him up to his feet and connects with an overhand forearm shot to the head before grabbing his arm and pulling him into a short-arm clothesline. Beckett pulls Unforgiven up to his feet when Unforgiven tries to close the distance and nails Beckett with a thumb in the eye.]
AJ: I think he may have gotten him mad with that shot.
[Stone comes in and helps Unforgiven send Beckett into the corner before pummeling away with rights and lefts before playing to the crowd for a second. Stone goes back to the corner while a bleeding Beckett turns Unforgiven around and throws him into the corner before stomping away at the midsection before going for a repeated right hands to the face while the ref starts the count.]
1...
2...
3...
4...
BJ: Yeah. And what gave you that idea, genius.
[Beckett breaks at four and makes the tag to McClain and shoots Unforgiven into the ropes and goes for a double clothesline but Unforgiven breaks through and makes a blind tag to Stone when he comes back into a stunning double hotshot from McClain and Beckett before Beckett leaves the ring. McClain goes for the cover but Stone comes in and drops a forearm to the back of the head. Unforgiven rolls out of the ring while Stone picks up McClain and take him over with a gorilla press slam while McClain grabs his back in agony. Stone stomps away at the back of McClain before picking him up and looks dead at Beckett before hooking McClain in a standing scissors before picking McClain up and drives him into the mat with a powerbomb that nearly shakes the ring. Stone goes for the cover.]
1...
2...
BJ: Now, what was that. If you have a guy down, you pin him.
AJ: I guess Stone wanted to make a statement.
[Stone pulls McClain out of the cover and whips him into the ropes. Stone goes for a back drop but McClain leap frogs over and hits the ropes again and gets nearly taken out of his boots with a massive clothesline from Stone.]
BJ: CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!!! I don't think McClain can take much more of this. His neck could have been broken.
[Stone picks up McClain who continues to bleed all over the ring while Stone makes the tag to Unforgiven. They whip McClain into the ropes and catch him by the throat before slamming him down with a double chokeslam and goes for the cover.]

[Beckett comes in and pulls McClain out of the cover before going back to his corner. Stone makes his way to the corner when Unforgiven picks up McClain in a gutwrench and powerbombs McClain into the turnbuckles. McClain tries to not fall to the mat when Unforgiven picks up McClain for a slam and drives him into his knee with a backbreaker. Unforgiven goes for the cover and hooks the leg.]
1...
2...
AJ: McClain will not stay down.
BJ: Maybe he should have because Unforgiven and Stone are looking to break his back.
[Unforgiven slowly picks McClain up and takes him up and over with a belly to belly suplex. Unforgiven makes the tag to Stone. Stone goes up to the second turnbuckle while Unforgiven picks up McClain and hands him to Stone. Stone brings him violently to the mat with a powerbomb and stays on top for the cover.]
1...
2...
CROWD POP!!!!!!
[Beckett comes in and breaks the cover before going back to his corner and waits for the tag.]
AJ: If Beckett didn't come in, I think it was over.
BJ: I might have to agree. McClain is losing more and more blood and his back has to be heavily damaged. No human being can take punishment like this for long.
[Stone makes another tag to Unforgiven. Unforgiven picks up McClain and whips him into the ropes and goes for a back elbow but McClain ducks under. McClain hits the ropes again and Unforgiven goes for a clothesline but McClain ducks under and connects with a couple of left jabs and follows up with a right cross but Unforgiven ducks the right and goes for a belly to back suplex but McClain lands on his feet and hooks him before dropping him to the mat with a side russian legsweep as both guys are on the mat.]
BJ: Can McClain make the tag? He's not just fighting to advance, he might be fighting for his career.
AJ: The ref is starting his count. Let's see who's going to finish it.

AJ: I think he might have heard you.
[McClain stretches out and makes the hot tag to Beckett as the crowd erupts. Beckett comes in and nails Unforgiven with a clothesline. Beckett rushes over and drags Stone into the ring and pummels away with right hands to the forehead. Unforgiven gets back to his feet and rakes the eyes of Beckett. Stone gets to his feet and stomps away at Beckett before picking him up and whipping him into the ropes. [Beckett comes in to break the count with a splash but Unforgiven rolls out of the way and Beckett crushes McClain. Stone comes back and helps Unforgiven whip Beckett into the ropes before throwing him through the ropes. Beckett holds on and slides over to the neutral corner and climbs up to the top. Stone and Unforgiven each grab one of McClain's legs and make a wish before turning around into a double dropkick that sends Unforgiven and Stone backwards but Stone lands on top of McClain and goes for the cover.]
1...
2...
BJ: McClain will not stay down and he will not quit.
[McClain barely gets the shoulder up before Stone pulls him up to his feet and tries to take him down with a vicious short-arm clothesline but McClain ducks under and takes him down with a drop toe hold and drives him face first to the mat. Unforgiven runs in and gets caught with a rotating standing side kick as he rolls out of the ring.]
AJ: The Soldiers of Redemption are hanging tough but Unforgiven and Stone are keeping it close.
BJ: And to think that these guys could pull off the upset.
AJ: All you need is three seconds to greatness.
[McClain picks up Stone and shoots him into the ropes and catches him with a massive hurracarana before yelling to Beckett to get up. McClain whips Stone into the ropes when Beckett connects with an enziguri into the back of his head when McClain connects with a kick to the midsection before leaping onto Stone's shoulders and takes him over with a victory roll for a cover.]

AJ: I thought McClain and Beckett were dead but they come away with the ticket to the next round and Brute Force going home.
BJ: It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
AJ: Yeah, yeah. But, what kind of shape will they be in for tomorrow.
BJ: That is something I don't know. Well, we are ready to bring you a very unusual match-up for tonight.
AJ: This is the last appearence of Judas and to make sure that he leaves an impact, he found a tag team partner and entered this tournament.
BJ: It will be a tough battle as they are set to face the recently dethroned champs, Mutual Benefit.
AJ: You'll see what we mean.
RA: The following match is scheduled for one fall. It is the last match of the First Round. The winning team will go on to the second round and compete with seven other teams for the right to be called 2004 Crockett Cup Champions. Introducing first. Weighing in at 246 lbs and 115 lbs, respectively and hailing from The Holy Land and The Kingdom of Heaven, respectively.
[The Ring Announcer takes a pause and tries to not show any laughter before continuing.]
RA: They are JUDAS and JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!
BJ: Now, that's an entrance.
AJ: Tell me about it. Damn bible freaks.
RA: And their opponents...Weighing in at a combined weight of 424 lbs and hailing from Huddersfield, England and Parts Unknown, respectively. They are the former WWA World Tag Team Champions. James Keiler....Azreal. Collectively known as MUTUAL BENEFIT!!!!
[Until the vocals start,]
[Two spotlights finds James Keiler on the ramp, slightly head banging, slightly dancing, before he becomes still and opens his arms out, and spins around a few times and Azreal, standing as stoic as can be before raising both fists in the air to a rousing ovation.]
[The Sleazter is dressed in a pair of baggy flared black full length leather trousers, with white boots just peeping out underneath. The Angel is dressed white full-length tights with a flaming sword down the left leg and "Angel" written down the right leg, red and white boots and a white mask with red trimmings.]
[James heads towards the ring, slowly making his way down the ramp playing up to several female fans along the ramp way. Azreal smacks hands with the fans along the barricade. Green lights start to fade back up.]
[With the arena now bathed in green Keiler and Azreal reach the ring and slide in mounting opposite turnbuckles to acknowledge the support of his home town CCW fans as well as the fans that have supported Azreal.]
[Keiler and Azreal jump down, tests the ropes elasticity before having a few words with the referee. Keiler and Azreal go to their corner, awaiting the bell.]
[DING!!!! DING!!!!! DING!!!!!]
AJ: I never thought I would see this. We have Judas, Jesus, and Azreal, The Angel of Death all in the same ring. Yup, we all going to Hell now.
BJ: You can't really think that the guy in the long white robe and sandals is the real Jesus Christ?
AJ: Beeg, I had water in this cup. It's turned into wine. Now, explain that.
BJ: You're a drunk.
AJ: Call the match.
[ Judas and James Keiler circle each other in the ring before locking up. Judas comes away with a side headlock. James quickly shoots Judas into the ropes and Judas comes back with a shoulderblock. Judas hits the ropes again but James comes up with a hiptoss that takes Judas to the mat. Judas gets back to his feet and runs into an armdrag takedown by James. James takes control with an armbar.]
BJ: James looking on top of his game, taking control with that armbar.
AJ: I'm just waiting for Jesus to get tagged in.
BJ: DAMN IT!!! THAT IS NOT JESUS!!!
AJ: Please, Beeg. Don't swear in front of our lord and savior. That could get you sent to Hell, you know.
[The ref checks on Judas who is shaking him off before getting back to his feet. Judas grabs a handful of hair to push James into a nearby corner. The ref calls for the break. James lets go as Judas starts to pull back but returns with a quick knee to the midsection. Judas delivers another knee to the midsection before taking James out of the corner with a snapmare.]
AJ: Judas was lulling him into a false sense of security and then lowered the boom on him.
[James sits up and Judas kicks him between the shoulderblades before he backs up and hits a modified neck snap on James before making the tag to Jesus. Jesus calmly steps into the ring.]
AJ: Oh yeah, here we go.
BJ: It can't be him. Jesus is not Asian.
